It’s Good Friday!

This is my #1 favorite for the week! Christ the Lord is risen friends!
My book signing on Monday night was one of my favorites! I am so thankful to all of you sweet people who came out to say hi. You have no idea how much you mean to me. Speaking of favorites, this Vince Camuto dress right here was one of my favorites on our Disney Cruise. I LOVE this dress! You can see my exact dress here (for a size reference, I ordered XS). They also have these solid versions…

Several of you asked about my shoes…and on this particular night, I wore these heels…
…and considering they’re heels, they were so comfortable! I love, love, love them! You can see them (plus the other 5 colors and prints they come in) here.

…and love it for spring and summer! It comes in six bright colors (I bought Coral Shock).
I’m wearing it here with my black jeans (love) and my denim jacket. Don’t forget, my new white denim jacket (same brand, same style) would be cute with it too!

This was us last November on our first road trip as a family of five. Today, we take off for our second one. Fingers crossed no one gets car sick (and by no one, I mean me…I’m ALWAYS the one!). 🙂

Happy Easter! Oh how I love Nordstrom too. Most of our $$ is going to our fixer upper right now though, so I just bought a juniors sale dress from Nordstrom for a wedding – eek. Slightly embarrassing but it's beautiful and was $40 so…. Juniors me up! It came in sizes 5, 7, and 9 – do you remember that mall store?!? LOL

Have you tried meclazine for car sickness? It's amazing. It is the active ingredient in both less drowsy Dramamine and Bonine. I get so sick I have to drive. It works.

Oh, friend, my 8 year old son and I are ALWAYS the ones that get carsick. Isn't it a curse? I prefer to drive so I don't get sick 🙁

I can definitely identify with the carsick issue. I have gotten carsick since I was a child and I always have to drive or ride in the front seat. I talked with my doctor about it and got a prescription for Zofran. It has changed my life! I only take it on long car trips, but it really works! Happy Easter! He is risen!

Love all those dresses! Ha I'm the one who gets carsick too………. a little tip ~ I keep gallon size Ziploc bags tucked in my back seat pockets………….just in case 😉
