A few weeks ago, I shared my Plum Berry Pie recipe with you and it was such a hit, that I already decided to mix and match it…into a Peach Pie! Four little ingredients (plus the crust!) is all you need to pull this simple little summer dessert together. Enjoy!
This recipe makes one 9″ pie.
Shopping List
Either 2 refrigerated pie crusts or enough homemade dough for two round 9″ crusts
2 cups of chopped peaches
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Lightly grease your 9″ pie plate and then fit it with your first uncooked pie crust. Set aside.
In a bowl, toss together your peaches, cinnamon, sugar and flour. Pour this mixture down over your pie crust. Top the pie with your second crust making sure to seal the edges down. Cut 3 or 4 slits across the top of your pie.
Pop your pie in the oven and bake about 35 minutes or until the crust is lightly browned. Remove from oven and allow to stand at least 20 minutes before slicing and serving.
Slice, serve and enjoy (maybe with a scoop of ice cream?!). These little recipes are great time and time again!
