Hey, hey, hey Friday!
Happiest of Fridays to YOU!
I pinned this quote this week and it’s stuck with me. I’ve scaled back a lot over the last five weeks to make more time with Madeley and you know what? I don’t want to go back to the other way. I may be a lot of things that aren’t fabulous but you know one thing I’m pretty darn good at? Saying no. And there’s going to be a lot more no in my future. So many of you have asked if I have help with my kiddos and the answer is yes…his name is Andrew. I don’t brag on my hubby much online, but let me just say that I couldn’t be me without him. Every single time I need to do something, like today for example, I’m speaking at a women’s event this morning, Andrew watches the girls. If I need to volunteer at my big kids’ school, Andrew watches the girls. If I need to take one kid to the doctor, Andrew watches the other. I feel very blessed that he has a job that allows him to stop what he’s doing to stay home during the day with kids (like when I go on overnight trips and everything), but I’m even more blessed that he wants to stay home with them. So, I’m going to say no to more stuff…but I also need to say a big thank you to the guy that’s there for me when I do chose to say yes.
A year and a half ago, I talked about The Sister Studio and their cute mugs (this is my Soul Sisters mug…I have one and Andrea has the other) and I’ve been following them on Instagram ever since…well, I don’t know what’s gotten into me lately but I’m pretty obsessed with their holiday mugs (all of their mugs, actually). They’re clever, funny, witty and super cute. So, since I’ve been purchasing them lately for gifts, I thought I’d remind you about them too. They really are so cute and would make excellent gifts this time of year!
See all four colors HERE.
(Eeeeks! Updated, it’s selling out again. Green is no longer available. Boo.)
I’ve been diggin’ Loft lately. For me, Loft is hit or miss. I won’t love anything from there for months and then all of a sudden, I love everything (plus they are having huge sales daily!). Right now, these tops are on rotation in my closet…
I’ve worn this top multiple times because I love the color, the cut and the relaxed fit. I even wore it yesterday too…
And then lots of you asked about this top…
Halloween wouldn’t be complete without this…
This one is near and dear to my heart. Last year, I met a sweet mama who also has a daughter with Klippel Trenaunay Syndrome like Ashby…
This was us last December. We love sweet Cambree and her mom!
…and they’re doing a fundraiser by selling Be Brave shirts. We bought ours and I would love if you bought one too! These precious girls mean the world to us and words simply can’t explain what a blessing it has been to get to know this other family. If you want a cute tee for a great cause, click HERE.
And last but certainly not least this Friday…a little giveaway :).
