It’s just a simple week in January. I like that. No big plans, no big holidays…just a week at home in the middle of winter. Bring on the cozy food!
My Sausage & Lentil Chili has been a BIG hit! I posted it about two weeks ago and told you how much my family adored it…and based on the reviews, it looks like yours do too! If you haven’t made it, make it. If you have made it…I bet you’re going to be making it again 🙂 .
Mmmmm…my Italian Brisket Sandwiches simmer all day in the slow cooker. Your house will smell amazing and your supper will be ready when you walk in the door.
I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again…once you bake a taco, you simply cannot go back. My Spinach Jack Tacos will rock your world and convert you to a taco baker for life. Promise!
My Creamy Chicken Corn Chowder is a breeze because it’s prepped in the slow cooker. It just does not get simpler than that!
And wrap up your week with the ultimate in comfort food…my Provolone Lasagna.
January is citrus month, so my Orange Poppy Seed Bundt Cake is fitting. You can serve this for dessert, breakfast or brunch!
Need a breakfast recipe this weekend? My Sausage Cheddar Breakfast Casserole is perfect because you can prep it ahead of time and just bake it that morning. I love recipes like that!
Have a cozy week friends!

This all sounds so good! Question: Do your kids eat what you have here on your menus? I have two boys, 5&6, and they used to eat so so good. Now they are so picky, and won’t eat anything I make, unless it’s pizza or hot dogs, which about kills me! What are your favorite kid friendly recipes?!

Any kind of pasta is always a hit at my house. Last night, we had shrimp and pasta and my kids devoured it. My kids are pasta people 🙂 .

I made your spinach jack tacos this weekend, and my husband and I both LOVED! He’s been eating the leftovers for lunch this week too.
