Every year, this is one of my most popular food posts…Back to School Slow Cooker Suppers.
(And all the busy moms said amen!)
I don’t know about you…but on busy school nights, my slow cooker saves me. My slow cooker makes me feel like a super hero…like SuperMom. Whenever I walk in the house after a long day of school, dance and baseball and dinner is ready and waiting in my slow cooker, I feel like I have super hero powers :).
If it’s been a while since you’ve used your slow cooker, pull it out, dust it off and get to using it! It can really be such a life saver…especially during the busy school year!
Here are some of my favorite Back to School Slow Cooker Recipes…

I really want to start using my slow cooker more but we are gone from our house from about 7am-5pm. We have an automatic one that will go to warm after the cook time, but I get so nervous to leave it on that long. Have you had it running that long before? I need a confidence boost to give it a try!
Thanks!

I will leave mine going up to 10 hours. Give it a try! I bet you love it!

Your recipes always look amazing! I’m curious, though…are there foods your family just won’t eat? You always have such a great variety of options, but so many kids are picky eaters.

What i feature is what I serve my kiddos. Sometimes, they’ll make accommodations (like adding ketchup to a lot of things) or they’ll deconstruct. Like one of my kiddos likes to eat the filling of enchiladas but not the tortilla, so she’ll pull out the middle. They all make it work…because that’s all this mama serves :).

I love slow cooker meals & will be trying some of these so thank you! One Q- Do you double your recipes? That’s my one complaint with many slow cooker recipes…somehow they seem smaller than say a 9×13 casserole or something and just don’t feed the fam or leave any leftovers? Thanks!
Mix and Match Mama says
At this point, I rarely have to double a recipe. We are able to eat the proportions exactly as I state them in the recipe.
