It’s Halloween week!!
Are you as excited as we are?!?! We have our candy, we have our costumes, we have our supper planned for the big night…WE.ARE.READY!
So, on Tuesday, we’re making something off of my Halloween Night Menu (Ghoul-ash!), but we need things to eat the rest of the week, right? Here you go…it’s Meal Planning Monday made for Halloween week! Can you believe it’s already here?! Fall is flying by!
Have you made my Red Beans & Rice before? This recipe is an oldie but a goodie. It’s prepared in the slow cooker, so you know…it’s way simple!
My Ghoul-ash is what’s for supper on Tuesday night! It’s a spooktacular dinner for Halloween!
My Sausage & Pumpkin Soup is just what you need for your Hump Day this week. A cozy bowl of soup, fuzzy socks and something on Netflix…that sounds like the perfect night to me.
My Taco Tortellini Skillet…because YES! Just look at it! It’s a delicious one pot meal your whole family will love!
And a really easy way to round out your week is by making my Sausage & Cabbage Skillet.
Need a little something sweet this week? How about this…
…my Chocolate Spice Bars. Me oh my! It’s the perfect balance of cinnamon and chocolate in one bar.
And if you need a quick breakfast recipe…
…my Pumpkin Snickerdoodle Bread and a cup of coffee are all you need.
That’s it! Happy Meal Planning Monday!

Happy Halloween Eve – I can’t quite believe it’s almost November! This is a nice menu to help shift into the new week. The sausage and cabbage skillet sounds just about right for my dinner tonight, heh. 🙂

On the red beans and rice recipe… This could be a crazy question but what is hot pepper sauce? Is that just regular hot sauce?
Mix and Match Mama says
But not like a salsa. A condiment instead.

Could you use a can of tomato soup instead of the paste and sauce in the Ghou-lash?
Mix and Match Mama says
I would really try and use the tomato paste if you can. If not, yes, you could sub!

Hi Shay!
My family keeps asking for something I made last fall and I can’t find it on the blog. It was like a sweet corn chili. I honestly can’t remember if it was one of your recipes or not, so thought I would just ask you. Thank you!
Mix and Match Mama says
It was probably my Sweet Corn Chili. Here is the recipe: http://mixandmatchmama.com/2014/11/dinner-tonight-sweet-corn-chili/
