We make my Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate all the time around here!
I love it because it keeps warm in my slow cooker and I don’t have to mess with it, but my kids love it because it’s so GOOD!
For fun the other day, I made a Valentine’s version and my kiddos loved it. I poured one in a glass so that you could see the pink color. We went over the top with our garnishes…and they loved that too! Just look…
To get my sprinkles to stick to the rims, I used a little light Karo syrup. Easy as that! Enjoy!!
This makes enough to serve a crowd! Depending on how big your mugs are, depends on how much this yields. You will use a gallon of milk for this recipe…so you should have plenty for a party! This recipe is simple to divide as well, so you can make half as much if you’re only serving your family.
Shopping List
2 (14 oz) cans of sweetened condensed milk
2 (12 oz) bags of white chocolate chips
1 gallon of milk (I used 2%)
1 teaspoon vanilla
pink food coloring
whipped cream to garnish, optional
Valentine’s sprinkles to garnish, optional
Strawberry wafer cookies to garnish, optional
2 (14 oz) cans of sweetened condensed milk
2 (12 oz) bags of white chocolate chips
1 gallon of milk (I used 2%)
1 teaspoon vanilla
pink food coloring
whipped cream to garnish, optional
Valentine’s sprinkles to garnish, optional
Strawberry wafer cookies to garnish, optional
For easy clean up, use a slow cooker liner.
In your slow cooker, layer in your sweetened condensed milk and white chocolate chips. Turn slow cooker to high and stir every 15 minutes for the first 30 minutes (this will help it melt faster). Once your chocolate chips have melted, whisk in your milk and vanilla. Next, whisk in a few drops of pink food coloring until you reach your desired color. Cover and continue to cook on high as you serve this cocoa for the next 3 to 4 hours. Continue to stir periodically. Garnish with whipped cream, sprinkles and strawberry wafer cookies.
Happy (almost) Valentine’s Day!

Is this a dumb questin?!?! Can you store leftovers?? I am assuming yes then just reheat in microwave!??!
Mix and Match Mama says
Yes!! Just give it a good stir when you’re ready to reheat and either microwave or bring it to warm on the stove.
