Key lime is a love language flavor in my family.
We all cannot get enough…especially this time of year.
On Saturday, I served these little No Bake Key Lime Pie Jars because…I wanted something that could be made in advance (I made them on Friday), I wanted something that was cute (it is a fact that desserts served in a jar are the cutest), I wanted something that went with our backyard party theme, I wanted something easy (hello?!) and I wanted something with key limes in it.
Mission accomplished 🙂 .
The hardest part about this recipe? Standing there and juicing your key limes (and that’s not even hard!). This dessert will be ready in no time flat!
And for some of my other lime recipes, just look below…
And for today’s recipe…
This recipe makes 8 (8 oz) jars.
Shopping List
2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese, softened
2 (14 oz) cans of sweetened condensed milk
3/4 cup key lime juice (it took me 7 key limes to get that much juice)
2 tablespoons zest from your limes
another 2-3 limes to slice and garnish on top
about 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs (either pulse your own or buy the crumbs already in a box)
whipped topping to garnish
Clean and set out your 8 jars. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, beat your cream cheese until smooth with an electric mixer. Next, beat in your sweetened condensed milk followed by your lime juice and zest.
Pour a little bit of this key lime mixture down into the bottom of all of your jars. Next, add a layer of graham cracker crumbs on top. Repeat one more time.
At this point, if you’re not ready to serve, put the rings and lids back on each jar and refrigerate.
When you are ready to serve, add a dollop of whipped topping to the tops of each jar followed by a lime slice.
Serve.
Easy and delicious! Exactly what I need in a summer recipe!

what would happen if you mixed the key lime juice in with the cream cheese/condensed milk mixture? too runny?

These look so great- can’t wait to try. I stumbled across your page for this recipe (posted from an Instagram account), but stayed for so much more. Your stories of adopting & bringing home your girls are so precious & I found myself on here for hours reading and getting to know them. My husband and I are about to embark on our journey to bring home our son from South Korea (we leave in 4 days!!). Your posts have inspired me to journal each and every experience during our travels and new adventures together. Sometimes you happen to come across things you need to be encouraged about! Thanks & I will be following your page to keep up with your family and so much more!
