I don’t know about you…but the last weeks of school are CRAZY around here! There are just so many “end of year” things crammed into such a short period of time. Has it been crazy? Yes. Has it been so much fun? YES, YES, YES!
Here’s a little look at life lately…
The Friday before Memorial Day was Field Day at my kiddos’ school. I volunteered with Erika to work the “water station” which was so much fun because the kids get soaked!! Here we are walking to school that morning.
Here is sweet Kensington after visiting my station. The kids all changed clothes after Field Day…so they didn’t have to walk around wet during the afternoon 🙂 .
I love this boy so much…even though his hat is ugly.
Later that night, we cleaned up and went to our town square for pizza and the annual Bike The Bricks…
…gourmet popsicles on a Friday night had us in that three day weekend mood.
On Saturday, we played by the pool all day long. This girl reallllly enjoyed her ice cream 🙂 .
After church on Sunday, we headed to my parents’ annual Memorial Day weekend swim party!
Ashby loves Grandmother so much!
Sharin’ popsicles with cousins.
Our oldest and our youngest. So, so, so sweet!
We drove home after my mom’s, showered and then went right down the street to watch fireworks over the lake (while wearing our pjs!). This is always one of our favorite traditions too!
The only picture I have from Memorial Day. We spent 9 hours at the pool. Nine. We all felt like this when we left 🙂 .
The third grade all had to create businesses and sell their products. Kensington wrote books and dedicated them to Ashby. My mama heart loved this so much.
At this point in my life, I don’t need to push my own cart. Ha!
This past weekend, all three girls had their dance recital…
…which was a first for Miss Madeley.
I was so proud of Kensington and Ebby Lee! They tapped…
…did hip hop…
…were in jazz…
…and ballet too!
Ashby and Smith both sleeping through it. Wake up, Ashby! You’re about to dance to Sleeping Beauty! #ironic
I was just so proud of all three of my girls!!!
Their daddy brought them flowers after the show…
…I just love them all so much!
Papa Jay and Lovie were so sweet to come and sit through four hours of dance 🙂 .
Whew! We cleaned up and got cozy the rest of the night. We were tired after that long day!
That’s a little look at life lately. xo
