Whoop, whoop! It’s Friday!
I saw this on Pinterest this week and it made me LOL…
…anyone else?! Oh my gosh! That is SO ME! Hahahahaha!
Needless to say, if you’re looking for me tonight, I’ll be snuggled in my bed. By like 8:30. Sigh.
I wanted to say thank you so much to all of you who sent me messages and comments of love on Wednesday when I posted that silly video of me seeing my new cookbook for the first time…
…ah! I love it so much!! My publisher made a compilation book of all the recipes from my previous books (plus a few from my blog) and turned it into one big Meal Planner. It’s divided up with four weeks per season and includes your shopping list too. I was really pleased when I saw it on Wednesday afternoon. If you want to pre-order your copy, you can HERE. It releases October 2. Thank you again!!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!! xo
Ready to know who won my SEPTEMBER GIVEAWAY?!
Drum roll please.
The four winners are…
I emailed you all this morning. Please email me back ASAP to claim your prize!!
My slow cooker is probably like four or five years old. They always carry it at Williams-Sonoma and it’s always on sale there. What I love about it is the insert. You remove the insert and can set it directly on your burner to brown things before popping it back in the slow cooker to finish cooking. It’s a-mazing. I bet I use this thing at least once (up to 4 or 5 times!) a week! If you’re needing a new slow cooker, you will love this one. Also, don’t forget, you can find all of my slow cooker recipes HERE.
And then this…
…is my new Instant Pot (also on sale). I’m still dipping my toe in the Instant Pot craze. I chronicled my first Instant Pot experience HERE. The comments/tips and suggestions alone on that post make it a must read. You guys NAILED the info on using an Instant Pot! I have only used mine twice now, but I’m determined to use it more and learn new recipes/easy ideas. Everyone keeps telling me how life changing it is…and I want my life changed 😉 .
Okay, every year, I do a fall home tour. I love looking at other people’s homes decorated for the fall (and then later, for the holidays), so I always post mine too. BUT, that’s not today. I need to get my act together and get all my fall pics, but in the meantime, here are a few new things I bought for fall and since they’re still in stock, if you want them too, you better hurry on over to get them…
My pumpkin pillow just makes me happy! The other pillow is also from PB and I use it year around…but the pumpkin one makes me smile 🙂 . Don’t forget to buy your insert HERE along with the pillow cover.
Here’s a better view of my faux fur throw. It’s big enough that my kids don’t have to all fight over it (well…let’s be real, they still fight over it.).
And look at my little rose gold pumpkin. Isn’t it cute?!
So far, my family has checked off Hocus Pocus and Hotel Transylvania.
Speaking of which…
…I might have spent too much time on Hallmark’s website this week figuring out which fall movies I want to DVR. #basicallyallofthem
Here’s my September #OOTD on repeat…
I could wear a sleeveless top with jeans and my peep toe booties every day. Oh wait, I just about do! This top is great because it looks like fall without being bulky or hot. The jeans? My AG jeans that I’ve had forever paired with those peep toe booties. Guys! I love these booties! They are just so comfy and perfect for transitional weather!
Here are a few other tops that work well for transitional weather like this (just scroll click!)…
Has anyone heard of Brandless? I feel like it’s everywhere on social media these days, so I bought a few things online. It’s food, household cleaning products and such and every single item is $3. My oatmeal (you get 2 for $3) was really good! If you’re a Brandless shopper, tell me what else I should buy! I’d love some ideas!
Well, you know how we’re bow heads around here? See exhibit A:
Well, it’s because my cousin Casey has the cutest bow shop!
I just got a new batch of her FALL BOWS…
…my girls always wear the XL Jumbo size. Seriously, I’m not just saying this because she’s family…but these bows are the BEST! You can even machine wash them!!!
Right now, Casey is offering until the end of month 10% off your first bow box when you make it a monthly subscription and use the promo code shay. You get to pick your start date- either September or October! Box subscriptions are only $20 a month and come with 5 great Hairbows ranging in size, color and style, planned around the seasons! Both boxes are listed online along with the past bow boxes from this year.
Last but not least…
Okay…have a great weekend, friends!! I’ll see you here on Monday!! xo
