NSale Top Picks and Winners Announced!

Well, happy Thursday friends!  I hope you’ve had a great week!!  We’re still enjoying beautiful Nantucket, but I have a post for you today!  After this post, I’m going to take the rest of the week off and then be back here on Monday.

I have not one but TWO exciting things today! First, before we left town, I took some pics of my favorite things from the Nordstrom sale, and then secondly, I’m announcing the two winners of my $500 Nordstrom Gift Cards to be used when the sale goes LIVE TOMORROW FOR EVERYONE!!

Now, the Anniversary Sale is always kind of wacky.  If you click on something and it’s currently not in stock in your size (or at all), keep checking back because they do restock certain items and then other items get restocked because of returns, so don’t lose hope if what you want isn’t available right now.  Also, I’m not even brushing the surface of the sale.  It’s insane.  There is so much goodness out there.  Make sure you check out all of it!  Maybe when I get home, I’ll add a few more picks from this year’s sale to my blog, but in the meantime, here are my faves…

I bought a rug.  What?  What?  Friends!  They had the cutest rugs this year in the sale, so I bought this one for my office.  This one style comes in like 9 super cute patterns, and it was really hard to pick because they were all so cute!  A rug?  Who would have thought?!

Right off the bat, a cozy zip up sweatshirt, the comfiest workout leggings and super cute sneakers.  Now, I am going to try and exchange my shoes for one size smaller.  I ordered my true size (8), and they’re a tad big, but besides that, I love them!  I bought both the leggings and the coziest sweatshirt EVER in an xsmall.  You’ll love them!

We all know that this is the stuff I will live in all year long 🙂 .

I’m going to transition from athletic wear to…

…this super cute dress and those peep toe booties!  Now, the dress runs really big! I bought it in an xsmall petite and it still has some room.  I think I can make the dress look a bit more “summer” with my wedges and then a bit more “fall” with perhaps a denim jacket and some cute leopard booties 🙂 .

Now, want to know what I got the most excited about this sale?  All of the SWEATERS!!  Bring on fall, y’all!  I. AM. READY!

Can we please have a minute with this pink sweater? It’s so soft, so cozy, not itchy at all (no wool!) and will make any old drab winter day HAPPY!  I paired it with my favorite jeans from the sale HERE.  I cuffed mine for the pics, but will probably get them hemmed.  What I loved about them was the waist was mid-rise (not too high and not too short where my undies show), and they have such a nice stretch.  I LOVE THEM!  Guess what else I loved?  Those Vince Camuto Peep Toe Booties!  FOR THE WIN!  I love a peep toe bootie because I think they transition so easily from warm days in September to the cooler days of fall.  Sweater, check.  Jeans, check.  Booties, check.  Shay ready for fall, check, check, check!

Now this sweater is a little different, but the same kind of wonderful.  I have this thing for gray turtlenecks.  Have you noticed that before?  They just make me happy.

One last sweater for you…

…how cute is this striped one?!  It comes in other patterns/colors too, and I’m tempted to get more!

I paired this sweater (and the others) with those camis I love so much!  They’re also included in the sale this year!!  I wear either a black or a white one just about every day!!  They come in so many colors!

For these next three tops, I switched out the jeans and the booties…

…how cute is this tee?!  It’s part tee, part sweatshirt.  It’s going to be perfect for those Saturday morning flag football games and soccer games we have.  It comes in several colors but this mustardy yellow one called my name.  Now, I love AG jeans so much and really liked these (I cuffed them as well), but will probably return them because I only need to keep one pair.  The booties?  I’m keeping those!  They’re comfy, cute, and WATERPROOF!  Plus, they come in SEVEN different colors!!  I bought them in sesame suede.  Yes, yes, yes!  I love them!!

This could totally be my uniform!

Speaking of my uniform…

…I can top it with this gray military jacket and call it a day!

Who doesn’t love a lightweight, neutral, easy to wear jacket for fall?!

Speaking of things I’ll love this fall…

…oh cozy twist top!  I LOVE YOU!

I’ve never met a cozy Gibson fleece top I didn’t love. This one comes in solid colors and then this leopard print too.  Love.

And then, it’s tops like this one…

…that make me really love the Anniversary Sale.  It looks like fall…but will be light enough for me to wear in September.

Whew!  Okay, a few things to note before I announce our two WINNERS!

1: You know how much I believe in Neulash (that makes you lashes grow!), and it’s a part of the sale too!!  All you do is swipe it on before bed at night and your eyelashes will grow thicker and longer.
2: Every sweater/top I bought was in an xsmall unless otherwise stated and both pairs of jeans were a size 26.  Also, every single top I showed comes in many, many colors and patterns (in case I forgot to mention that above!).
3: I am writing this post on Saturday morning (while drinking coffee and watching Barefoot Contessa) because I want to enjoy my vacation next week and not blog.  So…I’m hoping many of these items are still in stock when you read this.  If they’re not, check back (especially on Friday when the sale goes live to the public) as the inventory changes by the minute.
