About six weeks ago, I did PART THREE of my Trader Joes’ Faves and at the end of that post, I asked you guys what I should buy come fall time at Trader Joe’s. And friends, the list was long!! You guys totally knew what would be coming out and what I should get for my family. THANK YOU!!!
Over the last few weeks, as I’ve been shopping, I’ve started to see this stuff out in the store (I kept my list with me every time I shopped!), so I bought many of your suggestions plus a few other things, and today, I’m sharing it with you. Um, I love Trader Joe’s year around, but Trader Joe’s in the fall? MY VERY FAVORITE!!! Brace yourself…there is a lot of pumpkin to come in this post 😉 .
Here are my Trader Joe’s Fall Faves right now…
Many of you told me to get this, but my mother-in-law also insisted. I started with one jar of each…but I will totally be buying more! Both of these are so good on…
…their pumpkin waffles!! I bought two boxes of these the first time I saw them and am just about out. They are so delish!
Super cute, right?!
One of my favorite finds this last time!! I have been eating them with their pimento cheese dip and while enjoying…
…this for lunch!! Have you had their fresh soups from the produce department? So far, I’ve loved every one of them! The clam chowder is probably my favorite, but this one is so good too! I also bought these…
…easy soups to heat up for either my lunch or to put in my kids’ thermoses for their lunches!
I promise you that I’m not lying. I just ate two of these while typing this post…
…I’ve never met a Joe-Joe that I didn’t love, but these pumpkin ones are without a doubt MY FAVORITE!!!
We’ve also been eating these…
…they’re like a fall version of those circus animal cookies. You know which ones I’m talking about? The pink and white ones. These are really yummy too!
An easy, easy side dish for a quick supper!
Oh my goodness, this mac and cheese is really good!! I split it with two of my girls as a part of our lunch the other day and we all loved it! It’s in the freezer section by their other mac and cheeses.
Because, yes.
Trader Joe’s ALWAYS has great ravioli! It’s always seasonal, and they always have the best combinations.
I’m burning it in my kitchen now! It smells delightful!
Toasted with some of that cider jam or pumpkin butter and you have the perfect breakfast!
I like a little of this with my afternoon coffee!
Okay, I didn’t buy these but thought they were cute and wanted you to see them. I went ahead and took a pic of several things that we didn’t need, but I thought you might like while I was there last time. Here you go…
I’m pretty sure I need to go back and get these Joe-Joe’s!
Just this morning, all three of my girls had this for breakfast!!
Yum!!!
Okay, you know how much I love their coconut body butter, and now, I love this too! This has a faint pumpkin scent. It’s definitely not too overpowering!
Oh my word, this cheese is amazing!!!! I will be so sad when they stop carrying it. I believe it’s seasonal, so run, don’t walk and get you some!
Because I love their rose toner so much, many of you suggested I try this too! It smells lovely and feels very hydrating. I put a little on when my skin is dry (at the end of the day or even mid-day) and it really perks it back up.
I had this out for the kids to eat after school one afternoon, and they loved it! I might have snagged a bite or two and thought it was really good too!
On that pumpkin bread I just suggested…yes!
I saw these…thought they’d be great dunked in coffee!
And even something for your furry friends 😉 .
Whew! Did I miss anything??? I’m going to TJ at least once a week now, so if I did, please tell me!!!! Also, anyone want to tell me what to buy once the holiday season rolls around? I imagine #allthechristmas stuff out in the store, right?! Do share!!
Happy Monday, friends! xo

I can’t believe the Danish Pumpkin Caramel Kringle from O & H Danish bakery didn’t make the list. All their Kringle’s are out of the this world ahhmazing! You owe it to yourself to try one. Trader Joe’s carries them seasonally (at least in California). If yours doesn’t, order directly from the bakery itself. You’re welcome! 😉
Jen says
I second this! The Kringles are hands done my favorite In Trader Joe’s, i’m In california too… maybe it’s just California traders?
Julie says
I’m so excited to see this post as I’m going to TJ’s today!!! Love all your suggestions and can’t wait to try. I noticed in one of your photos they have the pink and white box with coffee cake mix. That was my family’s FAVORITE ever of all time. But the stores near me (Boston) haven’t carried it in years. So sad! So my suggestion is grab one of those and eat it up with some pumpkin coffee. PS their candles are the BEST. Especially at such a good price! I would stock up on any scents you like bc sometimes they run out quickly. Enjoy fall!
Elspeth says
Even though it’s still warm and sunny, I am ready for fall. All these treats look so good. Give me all the apples for fall!

Amanda says
Ok the pumpkin butter is amazing! And it is so good in this dip that my mom makes- in a shallow dish, put a layer of whipped cream cheese, topped with a layer of pumpkin butter, crumbled bacon, chopped pecans and scallions. Serve with triscuits. It sounds so weird but it is SO GOOD. The combination of salty and sweet is just perfection.
Mix and Match Mama says
I am so intrigued, Amanda!!
Amanda says
Try it, it is delicious (and addicting)! Every time I bring it to something, everyone begs for the recipe!
Marka says
Is this baked in the oven or eaten as is? I’m so curious about this recipe and want to try it.
Amanda says
Eaten as is! I usually make it a few hours ahead of time and let it chill for a bit in the fridge!
Lisa N says
Silly question…. but the jars that all of this goodness comes in is SO CUTE, do you throw them away? Don’t know what you’d do with them, but the packaging is precious!
Mix and Match Mama says
What should I do? They’re super cute!
Pamm Heath says
Use the jars to make the smores pudding you blogged last week, and maybe add a little orange food coloring to the cream cheese/milk mixture to give it a fall vibe. Already on this with my granddaughter’s.
J Harris says
The pumpkin bagels are also good especially with the pumpkin cream cheese.
Harper says
You should try their pumpkin pancake and waffle mix. Also their crumb coffee cake mix is amazing!
sam says
pumpkin ginger “hold the cone” mini ice cream cones! Delicious.

Liz says
I love the Grapefruit hand soap and the all-in-one facial cleanser.
Ranisa Brletich says
For years I was searching for the perfect pumpkin pancake recipe. I tend to cook everything from scratch. I was talking to a friend about it and she suggested I just give up and use the Trader Joe’s brand. I gave it a try. Oh my! Who knew a box mix could be this good. I stock up so i am never without it.
Michelle Nobbe says
My husband and I went to Trader Joe’s on Friday as part of our date night! Ha! I bought so many of the items you posted. I was eating a piece of the pumpkin biscotti with my coffee as I was reading your post. It is delicious especially dunked in coffee! I stock up on it! I agree that Trader Joe’s is great year round but Trader Joe’s in the fall is the best!!
Tara M says
What an amazing list!! I didn’t realize all the fall stuff available at TJ’s. I will have to make a trip soon, our closest TJ is about 45 minutes away so I don’t get to go very often. 🙁
Erin H says
I can’t remember if you’ve listed this before, but if you haven’t yet you need to get the pancake bread. It’s SO good. Pop it in the microwave for a few seconds to warm it up and you’ll swear you’re eating pancakes. You HAVE to try it.. I cannot stress that enough. Ha!
Mix and Match Mama says
I haven’t had that yet! Is it sold by the regular bread or is it frozen?
Erin H says
It’s with the specialty baked goods… usually when you first come in the store.
Shalimar says
Yes to the pancake bread but hadn’t thought of it warm! So good. In the bread section, not frozen.
Kristen D Maloy says
So, they make versions of those frosted cookies for every season (pumpkin spice, pink and white flowers in the spring), but the Christmas ones in the blue box – oh my goodness. Dark chocoloate covered shortbread stars. My very favorite all time TJ purchase, out of this world delish. I buy several boxes. Plus cute and festive! I can’t wait until they’re here.
Kimberly says
These all look amazing!! My favorite thing to get at Trader Joe’s in the fall is delicata squash. They sell fresh and frozen. I’ve never tried the frozen, but I slice the fresh ones in half, scoop out the seeds, and then slice in 1/2 inch thick slices. I toss them in olive oil, salt, & pepper and then sprinkle with a bit of brown sugar and roast in the oven until cooked through. They are so delicious!!
Rachel says
Have you ever tried the Kringle pastry? I believe they have pumpkin filling this time of the year. My favorites are the nut or original filling, but they are all super yummy (and addicting!)
Mix and Match Mama says
I haven’t!!!
Cindy says
I agree about the Kringle. Very delicious. I always have at least one in the freezer. They freeze well and taste
very fresh….even after being frozen for months. It’s come in very handy when company pops in. I love every flavor, but I think the pecan and the raspberry are my favorites.
Megan says
I’m not sure how this is the ONLY person to mention the Danish Kringle! I just bought it for the first time last week & it’s amazing. It’s pumpkin caramel, but I don’t taste much caramel…the pumpkin isn’t too strong-my husband even enjoyed it. My 3 year old called it Pie. I read online they sell out fast and they freeze well.
Jenna says
At Christmas their “Jingle Jangle” is the best. I buy several tins to bring to parties and several for home- they run out quickly!
Serena Welch says
this isn’t pumpkin related but still a must have! Mini Chicken Tacos (in the freezer section)- they are so dang good!!!!! We serve them with a little bit of guac and salsa – delish!
Shannon says
I bought the pumpkin pup treats. My Stella-girl is even more attached to me than usual! (She likes the peanut butter ones as well!)
Rachel says

Yum I need to get to TJ’s ASAP! Also you need to try the autumn harvest pasta sauce, it is the best ever!! I usually buy a bunch so it lasts past the fall 😉 it’s amazing on pasta with skillet chicken and some parm sprinkled on top ??
Taylor says
My nearest TJ is 50 minutes away (sigh). I try to make it once per month but after reading this post I need to get there ASAP! Thanks for writing such a detailed post!
Yley Allen says
Love, love, love Trader Joe’s! I love dangerously close to one- we’re talking within walking distance! I could go broke from shopping there… ? I stock up on that GF Pumkin Bread every year- we love it. Also their butternut squash alfredo sauce is delicious with the cauliflower gnocchi! I also love the pressed apple cider too. Yum. Think I’ll make a trip there today!

The pumpkin kale salad! I hate kale but the salad is amazing with pumpkin cornbread croutons, pumpkin seed crunchies and pumpkin vinaigrette. It is my absolute favorite.
Amy Dalon says
Their pumpkin muffin/bread mix is our favorite!!
Jessica says
It’s not in our local Trader Joe’s yet (California) but the Spiced Apple Cider is SO GOOD! Nothing beats the real thing, but it’s nice to be able to just pop a mug in the microwave and boom – cozy fall beverage!
Betsy says
Yesss! So, so good. They carry it throughout the fall & winter. I’ll buy 2 or 3 at a time because sometimes I’ll go in to buy it & they’ve sold out!
Maureen says
We were at the local Trader Joe’s (it is very close to my home) yesterday. We saw that grand array of pumpkin items and yes we had to pick up a few of them. We love the pumpkin breakfast bars.
Dena says
Love this post! I buy the pumpkin shaped dog treats for my Lab and put them in a clear pumpkin shaped cookie jar (I think it’s Anchor Hocking?).

You need to buy the autumnal harvest pasta sauce, I stock up every fall it is so good! I add a bunch of sautéed spinach to it as well!
Christy says
The pumpkin (and butternut squash) ravioli is soooo good with 1-2 Tbsp of brown butter, sage and freshly grated parmesan cheese as a garnish. It’s to die for!
Sara Fehrenbacher says
I dont have a TJ’s in my town, but we always stop in when we are near one. My fav thing to get there is the Chai Tea Latte mix. It is AMAZING, and is one of my fav cozy drinks to enjoy when the weather cools off. Its a powder mix that comes with a scoop and you just mix it with hot water. I love that because you can make it as strong or weak as you’d like. You should def give it a try!
Keisha Dawson says
Shoot! This post came one day too late! We don’t have a Trader Joe’s in Amarillo, but I stocked up on all of our staples before we left Oklahoma City yesterday. We were in such a hurry to get on the road that I didn’t even take the time to look at all of the fun fall stuff. I had my list of our tried and true favorites and got in and out. I keep crossing my fingers that we will get one here in town instead of having to drive 4 hours to the closest one.
Kelly says
We haven’t had a TJ’s in Little Rock but someone started a facebook page called Bring Trader Joe’s to Little Rock a couple of years ago. Our store is opening in October! I can’t wait to try all of the holiday food!
Melanie says
I may be the only person on the planet that hates pumpkin flavored anything.
Melissa says
No, I hate anything related to pumpkin flavor. I think pumpkin and coffee are two of the worst scents. Saving calories for guacamole and queso, I guess 🙂
Mary Wilmot says
I can’t wait to go and check out some of these! I just had a baby though so I’m afraid to go with a toddler who insists on pushing the mini cart and a new baby! Lol! Soon though!
Mary says
That goat cheese log looks great! It is probably seasonal, but the good news is at Christmas they come out with a cranberry goat cheese log. It’s so good!
Nicole says
I’m intrigued by these goat cheese logs, all flavors, but what do you eat them with?? Crackers??
Mix and Match Mama says
Yes! And sometimes, a slice of pepperoni or sausage!
Linda Grubbs says
Have you tried the Bamba Peanut Snacks??
Love them! It’s like eating cheese puffs, only they’re peanut butter flavor!!! Delish!

Not necessarily a fall item, but my roommate and I got TJ’s chocolate hummus the other day, and I’m OBSESSED. Great with strawberries
Lisa says
The Cherries!!! They come out in November and make the best cocktails and are just delicious! Buy multiple jars! There is also an awesome winter blend of coffee.
LisaD says
Try the spiced chai black tea liquid concentrate. I mix it with almond or soy milk according to the directions on the container. It is sold year round but is especially good in the Fall.
Mary says
I would recommend TJ’s bourbon vanilla….it has enhanced the taste of my baked goods since I started using it (especially my monster cookies).
Also, the manager of the TJ’s in my community lives in my cul de sac. I forwarded your blog post to his wife…she said she would start following you Shay. I think you might have future in advertising for TJ’s. Love you blog!!!!

Debbie Dunbar says
My son introduced me to the iced gingerbread men that Trader Joe’s has at Christmas. You have to get them early though because they always sell out. He always got them for me but recently moved to England so I will have to get my own and some for him for when he visits at Christmas! I love Trader Joe’s but do not have one very close by.

Find it when you can: Bourbon Maple Syrup! Amazing!!! Syrup housed in bourbon barrels. Worth every penny. Also, if you havent seen it, try to find the viral instagram video from St. Petersburg, Florida of the Trader Joe’s employees dancing to entertain a fussy toddler! It is the best. Love Trader Joes. (I started shopping at the 1st Trader Joes in Pasadena, CA 25 years ago. I had care packages sent to Russia for the 2 years I lived there. Gotta have the Trader Joe’s finds!
Deb S. says
update: Bourbon Maple Syrup is aged in the bourbon barrels. Unfortunately they dont sell it in the bourbon barrels, or I’d stock up that way. 🙂
Dania says
I second the person who mentioned delicate squash. It is so easy to roast and the most delicious squash ever. TJs will carry it for the next several months….just saw some there today! Also, TJs pumpkin ice cream. It may be my most favorite pumpkin product ever.
Dania says
whoops! That should have been delicata squash, not delicate ??♀️
Felicia Nguyen says
For the pumpkin butter add some cream cheese and spread that mixture on your pumpkin bread!!! It is DEVINE!!! I usually let the cream sit at room temp then I pour the whole pumpkin butter jar in a bowl and mix with 1 stick of cream cheese!!
Delish!
Karen says
The pumpkin ice cream is yummy and you must try the pumpkin spiced pumpkin seeds ~ I seriously hoard these and eat them for months…..and we do that with the pumpkin waffles also ?
Amy says
Try the Cinnamon Bun spread! Have been drizzling on my kids waffles instead of syrup & they are in love!
Kimberly Taylor says
Peppermint Jo Jo’s are the best Jo Jo’s! I buy extra boxes and store in the freezer to enjoy thru the summer!
Megan says
I live in Hawaii and we don’t have Trader Joe’s and this post made me so sad! Also debating if it’s dramatic to book a flight to the mainland to get all the pumpkin yum yums I just found out I’m missing out on.
Mix and Match Mama says
Hahahaha! Come on over!
TB says
How could you forget the pumpkin spice flavored pumpkin seeds ?
Mix and Match Mama says
I didn’t see them???? Adding it to my list!!
Anna says
I need to ask for a moment of silence as my TJ’s has discontinued the Cinnamon Croissant Loaf bread that made my favorite toast ever – I was crushed when I went to buy it yesterday. I’m taking heart in the fact that Almond Kringles (the very best Kringle flavor) will be in stock soon!!

The dark chocolate covered peppermint joe’s are the best! Also, on a whim last year I tried the egg nog flavored soy yogurt and oh my it was delicious! Almost like a custard! I am hoping they bring it back again this year so I can enjoy again.
Nicole DiDonato says
We are salty snack lovers so the ghost chips get eaten a lot here!

My fave TJs product (other than cookie butter) is their Zhoug sauce. So unique; almost like a spicy pesto but without the nuts. Dip veggies in it, use it like you would pesto, or put a dollop on top of your hummus. So good!
Mix and Match Mama says
Is it by the hummus? Or in a jar on the canned food aisle?
Paula says
Do you follow some kind of eating plan, restriction, portion, snacking, count calories ir what is your secret at looking fabulous but eating a nightly brownie?

Oh you’re sweet, Paula! I really try to eat what I like but in small portions, I work out 4 to 5 days a week and have good genetics.

The gluten free pumpkin bread is beyond amazing!!! You would never even know it’s gluten free and it’s super easy to make. My husband took it to his work “fall treat” day last year and won the award for the best tasting fall treat…. everyone was shocked it was gluten free! 🙂 So good!!!!
Thank you for all of the fun and pumpkin filled suggestions from Trader Joe’s.
Tanya Carpenter says
Shay,
I’ve followed you now for several years and enjoy all of your posts. My husband and I were in Memphis this weekend and experienced our first visit to Trader Joe’s. Thank you so much for the recommendations. Everything we’ve tried so far is outstanding! We also purchased their corn salsa, angus beef chili, fresh mushroom pasta, and everything pumpkin is the best we have ever had! We are planning our next visit already! ?
Mix and Match Mama says
Oh Tanya! Let’s thank everyone else! This community has totally changed my world with all of the Trader Joe’s ideas!! I’m so happy they helped you too!

This is not seasonal-but if you like Mediterranean dishes-you gotta try the chicken Tikka Masala in the freezer section. I would never think this frozen meal chicken would taste good, but it is the perfect little bite for lunch. So flavorful and delicious. Add a piece of Naan (also in the freezer section) and some cooked shredded zucchini in olive oil and you have a delish meal!
