It’s the Friday before THANKSGIVING!!!!
HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?!
As of 3:00 PM today, the three big kids are finished with school and get a whole wonderful week off for Thanksgiving break. We. Are. So. Excited. We’re also excited because remember how Madeley didn’t get her birthday party? Today, we’re celebrating by seeing Frozen II with friends 🙂 . I’m also pumped today because it’s my first Christmas gift guide post with my very favorite retailer Nordstrom! Today, I’m collaborating with Nordstrom and ShopStyle to bring you some gift ideas for the kiddos in your life PLUS, I’m also sharing a few for the grownups too!
A few housekeeping things before we get started:
1: I will be blogging next week, so make sure you come back! I have my November Book Review (so many great Christmas reads!), What’s Up Wednesday and much more every day next week, so stop by!
2: We are so excited to bring you Five Days of Fabulous again this year!! What is this? Our sixth or seventh year? Maybe eighth? IT GETS BIGGER AND BETTER with each year, so get excited for the week of December 9th because that’s when that is going down.
First up, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, so I wanted to share my favorite holiday things for kiddos at Nordstrom today starting with…
Here’s another adorable sweater for you too…
…’tis the season for Kensington to wear holiday shirts every single day 😉 .
I picked out some other fun holiday finds for kids at Nordstrom this season as well…
1: Gummy Candy Lab
2: Lots of cozy robes in a variety of fun prints for girls!
3: Night Ball Basketball
4: Fluffy Ugg Slides
5: Alphabet Bead Kit
6: Cozy robes for boys!
7: Little Feminist Board Books
8: Classic Waterproof Uggs
9: Magic Touch Tablet
10: Two Sided Easel Set
11: Little Artist Board Books
12: Unicorn Moon Light 🙂
13: Shark slippers!
Number two this week? Well, it’s that special time of year!
You know what I’m talking about, right?
…Ugg slippers (also in many colors!) and you’re set!! THESE SLIPPERS ARE WITHOUT A DOUBT THE MOST WORN ITEM IN MY CLOSET. I love them so much! I always buy them true to size and then they’ll stretch and conform to your foot as you wear them. They are a little snug at first but trust me, they will stretch a bit. Love. Love. Love.
A friend of mine posted this on FB this week, and I loved the idea…
…I am absolutely going to be doing this as well this holiday season!!
You guys had me CRACKING UP on Tuesday! I titled my post “dip” and half of you thought I meant…
…amazing appetizer dips when in reality, I meant…
…how I’ve been getting my nails “dipped” at my salon for the last 12 months. I was laughing so hard at your comments!! So, if you really are interested in…
…my delicious dips, click HERE…
…if you want to learn more about my nails and how they get “dipped”, click HERE. This post also has SO MUCH info on eyelash extensions as well!
My 5th fave this week is merry and bright…
One more thing that makes me smile…
…a cozy sweatshirt that doesn’t add bulk!! When I saw this The North Face one, I was sold because it’s cute and cozy but not bulky (as so many are!). I bought it in the “ashen” color, but it does come in more. (Side note, my booties are HERE and currently 35% off!) This sweater runs true to size and would also make a great Christmas gift from Nordstrom! Speaking of which, so would any of these things…
1: Sparkly earrings for under $40!
2: Hunter boots are always fun to give! I love giving different people different fun colors!
3: PJ Salvage always has fun holiday pjs!
4: This fun makeup set from Mac!
5: A plush throw that comes in so many colors!!
6: A festive candy cane candle!
7: Ugg Slippers, of course!
8: The only robe I use…and I use it EVERY day!!
9: A really nice Kiehl’s set!
10: Jo Malone gift set!
11: I like to put these diffusers in places like my bathroom and closet where I don’t typically light candles.
12: Everyone loves a Bose speaker!
13: Sugar Plum Fairy bubble bath!
14: I have probably gifted more Blardigans than any other gift!
As always, I’m posting my THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE BREAKFAST MENU! I know I say this every year, but watching the parade in our pjs and eating a yummy breakfast is ALWAYS my favorite part of Thanksgiving! From big casseroles to little bites, sweet breads and drinks too, see my complete menu HERE.
That’s it for today! I am off now to enjoy the beginning of our Thanksgiving week!! A huge thank you to my favorite retailer, Nordstrom, for collaborating with me today! From their AMAZING customer service to outstanding selection and expertise, they’re always my NUMBER ONE GO TO when shopping for my entire family. I’ll see you guys back here on Monday for my NOVEMBER BOOK REVIEW! You do not want to miss that!! xo
