It’s Meal Planning Monday!
I love winter food. I mean, I like all food, but fall and winter food are just my favorites! Anyone else? Mmmmm…if you’re looking for some easy winter food to make this week for supper, here you go. Happy Monday! xo
My Margarita Chicken Soup is perfect for winter!!
Growing up, Red Beans & Rice was always a staple supper in our house. This version right here is perfect for busy families because it’s prepared in the slow cooker!
My kids LOVE when I make Sloppy Joe Pot Pies. All you need to go along with it is either some roasted veggies (like broccoli!) or a big green salad.
Every Southern girl knows how to make a King Ranch Casserole. It’s kind of like a chicken taco in a casserole. Sort of. It’s delicious. You should make it this week!
And I’m rounding out our week with my Creamy Chicken Corn Chowder. You put everything in the slow cooker first thing in the morning and then that night, dinner is done!
If you’re looking for something sweet, my Peanut Butter Crumb Bars do the trick! Smith loves these things!
And whether you make my Banana Nut Bread for breakfast, a snack or dessert…you should just make it. It’s so moist and delicious!
That wraps up Meal Planning Monday! See you tomorrow, friends!!

Ooh I may have to try the peanut butter bars with a gluten free cake mix! Happy Monday.

Random question about your recipes! (I’m currently looking through one of your cookbooks.☺️) When you say grated Parmesan, do you typically mean the powdery kind like you add on top of pizza or the kind that looks more like shredded cheese? This always confuses me when Parmesan is listed in a recipe, because both say “grated” on the container.? I’ve found that it definitely makes a difference in the food, so wanted to ask!

My cheese monger sells the same Parm cut both ways. I almost always get the more finely cut Parm, but sometimes, I get it a little more shredded. For my recipes, either will work!
