Bubbly Sausage Pimento Cheese Dip
Description
This bubbly little dip will be the hit of your next get together! And bonus, it’s easy too!
Ingredients
- 1 pound of breakfast sausage, browned (I use Owen’s)
- 1 (8 oz) block of cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8 oz) container of sour cream
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups of shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 (4 oz) jars of diced pimentos, drained
- about 10 green onions, chopped
- a big pinch of both salt and pepper
Instructions
- Make sure your sausage is browned and crumbly. Reserve.
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease (I use Pam) a pie plate or 8×8 baking dish. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat (with an electric mixer) your cream cheese and sour cream together until just blended. Blend in both of your shredded cheese until just incorporated (do not over mix). Next, stir in your diced pimentos, chopped green onions, and a big pinch of both salt and pepper.
- Stir in your crumbled sausage.
- Pour this mixture across your prepared baking dish and pop it in the oven to bake about 30 minutes.
- When the edges start to bubble, it’s time to take out your dip and serve immediately.
Notes
This recipe is super easy and can even be made in advance. Assemble, cover and refrigerate until you’re ready to bake.

Yummy! Heading to the grocery today to get ingredients!
Do you serve with chips or bread?
Mix and Match Mama says
I love chips with it…especially a Frito!

Yes, I definitely made a number of your recipes this year. Some favourites are the acorn squash with meatballs, lemon pasta, and the pancetta and pea risotto (making that tonight actually!).

Awwwww!! Thank YOU so much, Sarah! I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!

Do you think I could swap out the sausage for chicken? Or would that ruin it? haha. It looks delicious!
Mix and Match Mama says
Totally add some chicken. I would probably add some dry Ranch seasoning, taco seasoning or even a bit of hot sauce though since you won’t have the seasoning from the sausage.

Looks delicious! What type of cracker/bread do you recommend?
Mix and Match Mama says
My favorite are Fritos or those big corn dippers from Trader Joe’s!

This sounds so so good! and I have an unopened bag of chips. Definitely making this today. Thinking that since it has sausage in it that I can have it for breakfast too.
Mix and Match Mama says
I would 100% agree. 😉

I made this for Christmas Day and it was amazing and yummy!! I made it the day before and put in the fridge and then baked Christmas afternoon. I couldn’t find pimentos at the store- maybe they are a Southern thing? I used jarred roasted red peppers that I diced up. Served the dip with Fritos scoops and Trader Joe’s tortilla chips. This will be in our holiday buffet from now on ! 🎄
