Happy Birthday, Smith!


Today, that tiny baby boy turns ELEVEN YEARS OLD!

Where oh where has the time gone?

Smith William Shull is just the most amazing kid in the whole wide world.

Smith is the consistent and steady rock here in the Shull family.  He’s level-headed, a deep thinker, super mature, consistently nice and easy to be around, funny, witty, entertaining, so dang smart, fun to hang out with, generous, loving and has the biggest heart for his family.  I could gush about Smith all day long.

He loves school, his friends, playing the violin, reading books, watching action movies, shooting his Nerf guns, climbing trees, fishing, hunting, snowboarding, playing baseball, football, basically anything with a ball, board games, riding his bike and of course, his Yankee Doodle.

This pic right here sums him up.  He’s a man of many talents, many interests, many abilities and skills, and he works hard at each thing he does.

Smith has a focused spirit about him that assures you he’s got everything under control.  He’s happy, he’s funny, he has those big dimples that melt me.  Smith Shull is one of the great loves of my life.

Happy birthday, buddy!  I am so thankful for YOU!  xo

    Happy Happy Birthday to one of the Slaughter favorites, Smithie!! We love you!! One of my favorite things about Smith is how well he gets along with everyone (might come from keeping all those sisters happy ??) At my house he’s like a superstar and everyone wants to play but he manages to keep everyone happy. It’s impressive! We hope you have the best day , Smith!

    How or why did he pick violin, of all the fun instruments? My boys started music lessons recently..

      He asked us to play specifically the violin for months and months before he started lessons. I honestly think he just wants to grow up and be a new version of Charlie Daniels 😉 .
