Happy Monday, everyone!
We had a very full (and lovely!) weekend!
On Friday night, our elementary school had it’s annual Spring Carnival (so fun!)…
…the weather was really nice, so it was the perfect evening to head out with these two for games and rides at their school. We’ve reached that age where the big two had plans, so it was just the four of us for the carnival and dinner (Mexican food, always a great idea!).
Then on Saturday, we had all the sports and all the sunny weather…
Andrew started his morning in Dallas with Smith at rowing, and then we switched off, and I headed to Dallas with Ashby to see Smith while he coached two volleyball games for this nugget (photo curtesy of Papa Jay).
Smith, Ashby and I made our way home from Dallas for…
…her soccer game where she scored a goal! She was SO EXCITED (and we were too!).
After a full morning of sports…
…we heated the pool and hopped in for the first time this season. We wrapped up our night down on our square for the annual McKinney Arts and Blooms Festival. We were happy and tired by bedtime on Saturday 🙂 .
On Sunday morning, I was very distracted by a mini labradoodle wanting to play fetch during my quiet time before heading to church 😉 .
After church, we had a bonus volleyball game for Mades’ team…
…and then spent the afternoon outside before eating…
…CHEESY RANCH TACOS for dinner.
That was our weekend!
