And just like that, IT’S JUNE!
Here’s a little life lately for your Thursday, friends.
We’ve already been packing in the fun this summer 🙂 .
First day of summer and my boy went grocery shopping with me before we hit up the pool in the backyard. I love any chance to spend any time with my kiddos one on one.
Miss Mades is my little fashionista. She likes to pick out her outfit for every occasion…even backyard swimming with her family.
On Saturday, we loaded up and took a little car drive to…
…visit the Lowe fam at their lake house. It was the perfect lake day! The weather was great which meant we could eat on the patio, fish, take the boat out and hop in the water too.
How sweet are these two?!
Speaking of sweet…
…Grandmother sure loves her great-grandbabies!
Love this kid.
Meanwhile back on the dock these two were trying to catch fish.
Three of my favorite people enjoying the beautiful day!
Sweet Aunt Catherine gave them all matching hair 🙂 .
I snapped this pic as we were pulling away from the dock in the boat. Isn’t she just so lovely?! Everything about her is beautiful.
What was my favorite thing about this entire day? Isaiah’s smile! He had that HUGE grin the entire time we were on the boat!
Speaking of huge grins 🙂 .
This boy and I had so much fun on the water too!
Madeley’s face! Bahahaha! We had a blast!
The three grandsons.
We ended our boating day at the marina with ice cream. We had such a great day, but we certainly missed sweet Ashby too!
Before we left, Andrew and Smith filled water balloons and needless to say, the three boys went wild.
…we were off to church!
…we headed back out to the pool. She eats her drumsticks backwards now. She says she likes to “drink them”. Bahahaha! Kids are so weird.
A random selfie with my littlest pup.
On Memorial Day…
…the Slaughter crew came over for afternoon pool time and dinner.
We had such a fun time!
Our week this week has been pretty chill. It’s so weird only having two of the four kiddos. While Kensington has been at cheer camp and Ashby in Florida, Smith has had friends over and Mades has taken over caring for Frenchie…which, as you can see, Frenchie looks less than thrilled about.
She misses the other two girls too.
And that’s a bit of life lately. I hope you all have the BEST start to your month! I’ll see you tomorrow, friends! xx
