Happy happy WEEKEND!
I hope your fall Saturday is off to a fabulous start!
Here’s a little bonus blog happiness for your day.
Sending you so much love!
I love finding selfies on my phone 🙂 .
My easy lunch this week.
Here is what I did:
I made my EASY EGG SCRAMBLE (but only used two pieces of turkey bacon and two eggs) and then topped it with leftover brisket, candied jalapenos and siracha. I added half an avocado and some pumpkin chips from Trader Joe’s and my high protein lunch was all set. It was delicious! I made this exact lunch two days in a row.
I watched this on the flight to Boston last week and well, they are just too adorable. Is it the “best” movie ever? No. Did I mind spending two hours watching Brad and George be “Brad and George”? OF COURSE NOT! These two are so cute, so funny, so charming and oh so fun to watch. I smile just looking at this photo 🙂 .
Anyone else get giddy when their Southern Living fall magazines arrive? My November issue came in the mail and Andrew Shull actually held it up and said “Do you need this?”.
DO I NEED THIS?!
It’s like he doesn’t even know me.
I enjoyed every single page.
I shared this pic with you earlier this week…
…of us inside Shore Soap Co. Andrew and I LOVE this soap store based in Rhode Island.
For the last three years, I’ve purchased their “holiday” scent, and that’s what I came home with this time too…
…Jack Frost is seasonal and smells like a Christmas tree farm. I absolutely love it! Andrew tends to always wear their scent Atlantic and my very favorite is Pacific, but I also wear Endless Summer, Coconut Bikini, Salty Mariner and have tried the others too. I haven’t met one I didn’t love.
It’s just one big rotation of high school football gear. On this particular night, I wore a red tank with my black coat and then this hat for Smith’s game and replaced it with my McKinney Body High Hat in the car as I drove to Kensington’s game. I’m in my High School Football Clothes Era.
There are just SO MANY great things right now including…
The HOLIDAY COLLECTION FROM LOFT!
You can see it all HERE.
There are just so many festive finds!
So many things are currently on sale! You can see these options HERE.
At Mix and Match Travel Agency, we always think Italy is a good idea.
We have clients on Italian vacations all year long…
…so whether you’re thinking about the beginning of the year, next summer or next fall, we’d love to help. Contact us today about this or any of our other travel destinations.
Just one more week of this view…
…and boy, it makes me really happy.
That being said, I’m not too sad about…
…this season approaching! I went to Hobby Lobby this week and look at what I found. Isn’t it cute?! It came as a white or pink tree too. I’m not sure where I’m going to put it, but I can guarantee you that it will bring me joy.
That’s all for today!
Guys, I hope you have the BEST weekend! I’ll see you on Monday! xx

Shay, my grandma used to have an antique Christmas tree just like the one you bought. She kept it on her mantle and it reminds me of Christmas as a little kid. Can’t wait for the Christmas decor! I already deep cleaned our house so we are ready to put the decorations up after next week!

That little tree in white or pink would be perfect for the girls to decorate their rooms with!
Do y’all do that fun stuff for Ashby and Madeley for their heritage around Christmas like incorporating Santas playing the saxophone or French horn in your collection or doing peace apples?

Wish I could post a pic of my 2009 Southern Living magazine that I pull out every year and brings a smile to my face every time I look at it.
“Yes I need it!”

I have a ceramic tree like that, but my parents made it in the 80s and it was my grandparents for years. I love it!

Pumpkin chips from Trader Joe’s….now on my list-how have I missed those?! Thanks for a happy Saturday, fall-filled post!
Deb says
Fingers crossed that tree is still at Hobby Lobby – we had one growing up that my mom made at a ceramics class and my sisters and I all want it!
Kim says
Aldi sells them too! If you have an Aldi grocery store in your area 🎄

I big time love that little tree. My father-in-law had a hand me down one from his mother. It got lost through the years but I loved it so.

I love Southern Living mag too! I devoured this latest issue and am trying to decide which of those delicious Bundt cakes to make! I love fall.
Valerie Stults says
My mom made a tree like that was when I little!! Brings back memories!! Love your blog!!!
Susan McKain says
Agree, Deb, my mom also made one at ceramics class years ago – I think over fifty years ago! Each little lightbulb is removable, so it was always an additional tree to decorate when I was a kid. They must have been really trendy, I would also see them at childhood friends’ homes. And my mom made a white, with silver trim, one for my grandparents who lived in Florida. My favorite decorations that my mom made in ceramics class were always the Easter ones full of chicks and bunnies.

I don’t think there’s a way connect this to your post BUT I just have to say. I’m a HUGE Dodgers fan and every time the Yankees doing something good during this series I’m getting extra cranky about it on your behalf. I just needed you to know that 😂
Melissa says
I love Christmas tree scented everything! Might need to order that. Thanks for sharing!

Why do Smith and Kensington go to different high schools? I just now realized that they do so apologies if you’ve talked about that before.
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s totally fine! I don’t mind answering again. They just kind of wanted different things. K is quite happy at her school, but Smith was looking for a bit smaller, so here we are.
Heather says
This mini tree is screaming Christmas barcart to me🎄🎄
Mix and Match Mama says
STOP!!! You’re right! That’s exactly where it’s going!!!!

My mom had one of those Christmas trees when I was little 🙂
