Happy…
…WELLNESS WEDNESDAY, friends!
Today’s post is pretty short and sweet (I have a BIG What’s Up Wednesday for you today too!).
About six weeks ago, I was chatting health and wellness with my friend Krista when she mentioned that she had swapped out some of her capsule supplements for the liquid variety and was feeling amazing.
As you can imagine, I had a TON of questions for her.
Now, as I mentioned in my SUPPLEMENT POST, the first place you need to start when considering supplements is talking with your doctor and getting your lab work done. Do NOT take my advice or opinions about anything medical. I am going to share things I try and love here on my blog and hopefully that just encourages you on your own health and wellness journey.
Supplement fatigue is a real thing and even me (a super regimented person) gets tired of taking supplements every day (and paying for them too!).
I have zero affiliation with this brand, but based on what I was already taking and Krista’s glowing remarks (and her glowing skin…she just radiates health), I went ahead and bought these three…
…from the brand Cymbiotika. Maybe you’re very familiar with this brand or maybe you’re not, but it’s liquid supplements which *can* have its place in your supplement stash especially if you are tired or just need a break from taking pills. As you know, I was already drinking AG1 every day (so getting my greens in) plus, I was taking vitamin C and glutathione, so I decided starting with these three would be a good fit for me.
You can most certainly just squeeze the packets right into your mouth (they taste good!), but I am doing what Krista does with hers and…
…squeezing all three into a glass and then filling it with water…
…and drinking it once a day (typically before my lunch). All three together make the water a dark green and taste like a really refreshing cucumber water. I can’t speak for their other supplements, but this is working well for me and these three taste great together.
A few things to note/thoughts:
1: I did the “one time” purchase on all three because I wanted to try them before I “subscribed and saved” and have already replenished my order.
2: These were all very easy to travel with and have gone with me to both Nantucket and Jamaica.
3: This brand has SO MANY different liquid supplement options, but these are the only three I’ve tried so far. You might not need any of the three I am currently using, so you should take a look at the other options too.
I just wanted to share! I know many of you do not enjoy taking pills, so perhaps you can supplement some of your capsules with their supplements? Or maybe you’re just like me and need a little change this summer. Either way, I always like to pass on wellness related things that are working well for me 🙂 .
As always, make sure you talk to your doctor first and foremost.
I hope you have a WONDERFUL day! xx

Is this replacing AG1 or are you taking both?
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s replacing it. I still love AG1, but after about two years, I was ready for a switch up.

Hi Shay! I take several vitamins, but am not sure about diving into the *supplement* world 🤪
How do you know to try new ones? How do you know one is “a fit” or “is working well” for you?
Thanks so much, and don’t leave ACK!!

Great question! For me, I add them after looking over my labs and discussing them with my doctor (so make sure you do that too!) and always one at a time. I almost always give it a one month window before I make any firm decisions about how they’re working. More often than not, I know way before the one month time frame if they’re working well. By working well, it depends on what I’m taking them for. For example, if I’m taking one for my gut health, it’s pretty easy to tell if it’s working (do I feel bloated or constipated, is it causing too much movement or not enough, etc). Fish oil is one I do not tolerate and I immediately stop taking anything with that in it (my scalp will get extra greasy right away if there is any fish oil in my supplement), so that’s an easy “quit” for me. Does that help?
Beth A says
Thank you Yes! for the most part… My blood panels have always been excellent, so my dr is hesitant to point me to suppliments. What lab work shows gut health? I need to add that test!
Thank you so much!

I haven’t clicked on a link so quickly in quite some time! Due to a GI issue, pills are not a good fit for me. I absorb liquid supplements so much better and I am very excited to look into these and see what might work for me. Thank you for sharing!
Mix and Match Mama says
Awwww! Looky there! I hope you find something that works for you too!
Maddie Giamello says
Thanks so much for sharing! I’m going to look into these! Are you still doing AG1 with these too? Or are you doing this instead of AG1 now? Happy Wednesday!!
Mix and Match Mama says
No, only one “greens” a day for me, so I’m drinking this in lieu of the AG1.
K.K. says
Love the liquid format!! Definitely checking it out.
Alison says
I’m not familiar with this brand, but definitely checking it out! I’m approaching the point when I need to reorder all of mine. I love the idea of a liquid option vs. swallowing a handful of large pills. Thanks for sharing, Shay!
Mix and Match Mama says
I wasn’t either! So far, I really like what I’ve purchased.
Lori J says
I have used Cymbiotika for years. I can attest to the amazing quality and taste of all of these products. Listen to their lives’ when they have them, so much information. I’m glad you found these!!

What is AG1?
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s a greens mix too! It’s great! It comes in a powder form that you stir into water.
Erin says
Thanks for sharing! Pills make me gag!
Marisa Patel says
I think I am going to give these a try instead of all of my pill supplements. I do get to where it is hard to swallow another pill and I will gag so this might help with that issue.

Shay! For a future Wellness Wednesday you should look into dry brushing and lymphatic drainage. I’ve had two lymphatic drainage massages and while they were verrrrrry different from a regular massage (which I was not expecting), I felt AMAZING after and actually lost a few pounds of water weight I had been retaining. The whole concept is fascinating to me, and I’d be willing to bet you’ve listened to a podcast or two about it! Also, another thing to look into is fascia and its relationship with anxiety– sooo fascinating! Just thought I’d share 🙂
Mix and Match Mama says
I have! I’ve even tried it at home myself, but I can only imagine I would get significantly better results from a pro. Great topic idea! Thank you!
Tricia says
Hi Shay,
Just curious as I start my wellness journey! Did you go to a doctor who specializes in hormones, nutrition, gut health etc. or just your GP??
Mix and Match Mama says
Great question! I personally started with an HRT doctor (The Riegel Center, he does telemedicine if you are interested!) and then from there, went on to meet with a GI and a urologist and so on. I don’t go to one doctor for everything. I see a variety.
Tricia says
Thank you so much!

I’ve been using Cymbiotika for a few months also and really like the Supergreens. I add a squirt of lemon to mine! I’ve tried the Glow capsules but I’m not sure I’ll stick with them
