Happy Monday, friends!
Today, I have a little TRADER JOE’S FALL HAUL to kick off our week.
If you haven’t been to Trader Joe’s yet this month, get there quickly. It’s just the happiest place on Earth 🙂 .

I visit Trader Joe’s about once a week this time of year. Here’s what I grabbed on my most recent trip…plus, I have a few bonus items at the end.
Grab your coffee, settle in, and prepare for the deliciousness.
Your October certainly wouldn’t be complete without…

…a can or two (or ten) of their pumpkin. What am I not putting this in right now?!

Yay! I am so excited about this seasoning blend. It’s going to be super easy to add a bit to my pasta dishes.

I am a BIG fan of using vanilla bean paste. The flavor is always richer and more concentrated. I was running low on both the paste and the extract (’tis the season for baking!), so I bought two new jars on my last Trader Joe’s run. If you haven’t tried these yet, you will really notice the difference.

It’s called a “snowball pumpkin”. I mean, of course, I needed this.

An easy yes.

We buy these every fall. They make cocoa extra delish!

I am a BIG fan of their dried mango, but this new green mango is even better. Holy cow, I eat this like candy. This is so very delish! Two big thumbs up!

Toast it up and serve it alongside either their pumpkin butter or their pumpkin cream cheese. They make a gluten-free version too!

Lunchbox staples at our house.

My girls love chocolate croissants, so I bought them the “double” chocolate ones this last trip. These make a really easy (and decadent) breakfast!

Yes and Yes

I always grab a few bags of these when I see them and stick them in my freezer for burger nights. I toss them in my air fryer and bam, they’re done. These are always a hit at our house.
Here are a few bonus items that I buy on repeat every October…

Aren’t they cute?! You can use them for a million things like…

Well these are absolutely delicious! A few of these with a cup of coffee in the afternoon, and I’m one happy fall girl.

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again…Trader Joe’s has the CUTEST and most affordable greeting cards. I pick some up every single time I go.

I first started picking these up when we were only eating gluten-free, but now, I still get them just because they’re absolutely delicious! If you haven’t tried them yet, you won’t believe how good they are.

Another seasonal staple at our house.

And yup. Adorable.

The baked goods section at Trader Joe’s has so many yummy options. It’s actually hard for me to pick just one to take home. These Pumpkin Blondies never disappoint.
Don’t forget, you can catch…

…my SEPTEMBER HAUL with lots of fall goodness too!
If I missed anything today, please comment and share!
Have a wonderful start to your week. I will see you back here on WEDNESDAY! xx

It all looks so good. Our Trader Joe’s is 20+ miles away and right next to a mall, so in a very congested area. But you make the trip look worth the hassle!

Oh how I wish we had a Trader Joe’s! The closest one to me is 2.5 hours away.

Ooh thanks for sharing your TJ’s haul! We LOVE TJ’s! Its the closest grocery store to our house, so we are there multiple times a week. I havent seen those waffle cut fries or the new sprinkles so I’ll definitely be picking those up this week. Also- what do you use your vanilla bean paste for?! I buy this often since I make vanilla bean scones for folks (i have a small home bakery) but it is SO delicious and smells amazing and I am trying to think of what else I could use it for! haha. Happy Monday to you guys!
Katherine Darlington says
How do you have so many snacky type foods and baked goods always around and stay disciplined?
Mix and Match Mama says
I think because I don’t restrict/remove/deprive myself of any one type of food, I can have a little and be satisfied. If I want a bite of a cookie, I’ll have one. All things in moderation for me 🙂 .
Lori says
Yes! The gluten free muffins are so good; all the flavors! Even if you don’t have to eat gluten-free.
Sarah DeWald says
how fun and festive!
Kristin says
Our TJs is also a bit of a hike, but I think I’d better get down there. I always forget about the greeting cards! I just started a list on my phone so I check them out next time. And I used their pumpkin last year for our Thanksgiving pie, and it was the BEST pumpkin pie I’ve ever made. I need to stock up on that. Thanks for the tips and reminders!!

The GF pumpkin pancake baking mix is so easy to use to make pancakes and is delicious!
I recently bought an apple scented cute small candle and it smell so good.

Notable mentions: apple cider, apple cider doughnuts, pumpkin butter, butternut squash mac and cheese, and at my FALL ladies party I am doing a pairing with their pumpkin chardonay.

There’s nothing better than a Trader Joe’s haul. I don’t go very often so I love to see what other people pick up there. Enjoy your treats.

Last night I searched your blog for your September TJ post because I have an appointment in Houston, so I knew I could make it to TJ today! I’m in the waiting room at my appointment & pulled up today’s blog post. It was meant to be!!! Will be looking for these today.
Arika says
Would love to see a post on your favorite Diane Keaton movies. Something’s Gotta Give has to be at the top of my list, but my sentimental favorite is Baby Boom. I watchted that over and over as a kid!
Mix and Match Mama says
Well it’s like you’re reading my mind this week…stay tuned.
Andrea says
Are you substituting the vanilla bean paste for the extract at a 1:1 ratio?
Mix and Match Mama says
No, a little goes a long way. I typically take my knife and dip it into the paste and then swirl a little into the batter.
Amy H says
Have you tried the maple butter at TJ’s? It’s so good!
Gail says
I have no idea how to use the vanilla bean paste but it sounds amazing!! What do you do with it? And the vanilla….do you substitute it for regular vanilla or do you have to make adjustments? I love to bake so this should be awesome!
Mix and Match Mama says
Don’t substitute it measurement for measurement (the paste goes a long way!), but yes, use it in your baked goods. I almost exclusively use it over the extract. It’s great in anything you’re baking where the extract is called for in the recipe.
MichelleB says
The gluten free muffins are amazing and nobody in my family is gluten Intolerate. The best.
Beth Harms says
Aren’t those canned pumpkin labels the prettiest!? I buy them and just leave them out on the counter😊 This year at TJ I discovered salted maple ice cream. Have you tried it? Sooo good. 🍁🍂
JMR says
I would love to know how you use the vanilla bean paste! Can you share a favorite recipe that incorporates vanilla bean paste instead of extract? Or any suggestions on how to substitute?
Mix and Match Mama says
I actually use it WAY more often than vanilla extract. A little goes a long way (so don’t replace the measurements equally if you’re substituting), but it’s just so good in brownies, cakes, cookies…whatever you’re baking.
Connie says
I still love the pumpkin butter! I stocked up on several jars. Some items here I need to try! Thanks for sharing! 😊 I love going to Trader Joe’s!
Betty Ripley says
Trader Joe’s just opened up in the community next to us last Friday. I’ve waited 20 years for one to get closer than 1 1/2 hours from us! So excited! Figured I’d wait a few days while the crowds invade the store the first few days, but will definitely go this week! Will be looking for some of the items you recommend. I do love their orange chicken! Nothing compares! Now I’ll be able to read your posts about Trader Joe hauls without jealousy!
Baylee says
My girls love the “Pumpkin Walks into a Bar” bars! Think nutri-grain bar, but pumpkin! We love the peach ones in the summer too!
My favorite things this fall have been the Salted Maple Cold Foam for coffee and the Pumpkin Brioche bread- chef’s kiss for French toast on a fall morning!
Paige Sullivan says
Not gluten free….however! Have you tried the pumpkin “snack” cake? Delicious!! AND! The vanilla and chocolate ones that they have year round are THE BEST too!!! YUM!
Mix and Match Mama says
I need to grab that one next!
Chrissy says
Out of curiosity, who do you send Halloween cards to? I always see the Papyrus ones in my pharmacy and think they’re SO cute and festive, but never know what I would do with them!
Mix and Match Mama says
Funny enough, I’ve already used mine and had to go back and buy more. Mades has a pen pal in Florida, so we used one for her. I had a friend drop off a Halloween goodies, so I used one for her Thank You card and then, I used the third one I bought a few weeks ago for a second thank you card (a cheer mom).
Andrea says
Trader Joe’s does it’s absolute best work in fall and winter! Also where did you get that plaid jacket you have on in the NY pucs? I’m obsessed!
Mix and Match Mama says
That’s from Barbour 🙂
Elizabeth Feldpausch says
My kids just discovered their love of pumpkin so I might grab them those pumpkin Os for an after school treat this week!
Alison Hughes says
I wish we had a Trader Joe’s closer! I do try to go once every few months, but it’s awful with traffic and takes about an 1 1/2 hours of driving there.
Lori says
Perfect timing! I am heading there this morning!
