If you are looking for a really easy and absolutely DELICIOUS recipe for Back to School Season, you must make MAGIC BARS!
The key to my “magic”? I use both graham cracker crumbs AND pretzel crumbs for the base. It gives it that salty-sweet combo we love.
I also like to make mine with semi-sweet, butterscotch, white chocolate, and peanut butter chips…but you do you.
If you love more of one and less of another, swap it out.
This is the ultimate mix and match bar.
Enjoy! xx

Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup crushed pretzel pieces
- ½ cup melted butter
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup butterscotch chips
- ½ cup peanut butter chips
- ½ cup white chocolate chips
- 2 cups shredded sweetened flaked coconut
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Line a 9×12 baking dish with foil (giving it enough room around the ends for overlap so that you can easily pull it out at the end). Lightly spray foil with non-stick spray. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, add in your graham cracker crumbs (see note at bottom).
- Next, take your pretzels and place them in a large gallon-sized baggie. Using the back of a measuring cup, crush the pretzels in the baggie and then pour these small pieces into the bowl with your graham cracker crumbs. Stir in your melted butter and combine everything. Pat this mixture across your prepared baking dish as the crust layer.
- Next, pour your sweetened condensed milk across the crust mixture. Lightly spread it out over the top. After that, sprinkle all of your “chips” down evenly as the next layer.
- Finally, sprinkle your shredded flaked coconut down over the top.
- Pop your baking dish in the oven and bake about 20 minutes or until lightly browned all over.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool at least 10 minutes before removing the bars (pull the foil out of the pan), slicing into squares, and serving.
Notes
You can buy graham cracker crumbs or you can pulse graham crackers in the food processor until it makes crumbs. Either way works.
