We woke up in Copenhagen, Denmark ready to have lunch and look around before boarding our ship.
Lunch outside (it’s about 62 degrees here…at lunch time!)
Mom and me 🙂
We boarded the ship around 2 PM
We walked around to get acquainted and of course, had to stop for ice cream at the 24/7 ice cream parlor.

We decided that we LOVE going on cruises this time of year because it’s just old people and no kiddos. There were almost 2000 passengers on this ship and probably 5 kids. Including my two kids. It was so nice because we had the kiddie pool to ourselves, we had the kiddie play room to ourselves and all of the old people and crew members loved on our kids like crazy. After being on the boat about 30 minutes, we found the kid pool and my kids couldn’t wait to get in. It’s about 60 degrees here but the pool was heated, so they loved it. Andrew got in with them this time and I sat in my jacket on a lounge chair and watched.
Then, we had to get them dressed again for the life boat drill…this is what they thought of that! Both kids were OUT.
Here we are about to set sail out of Copenhagen. Next stop, Germany!

It was 62 degrees here today. I was HOT. For the first 24 years of my life I lived in Oklahoma and thought of 62 as COLD. Now I'm a thick-blooded European and strip down to my tank top at 62. Sad.
