I don’t have any pictures today (sorry Grandmother!) but I wanted to tell you about our special day. This morning, I went and spoke at a work thing for about two hours. I needed a babysitter for Smith (Kensington was at pre-school), so I called the best one I knew…Papa Jay. My dad met me there and took Smith off to McDonald’s to play. When I got Smith back, he talked happily about the fun time he and Paw-Jay (that’s what he calls him) had. I’m so blessed to have a dad that wants to help out with my kids and then does a fantastic job doing it! Thank you Dad!
Then…we came home and had to go get Kensington from school, so it totally screwed up Smith’s nap. I called Andrew and said I wouldn’t be taking Kensington to gymnastics today because it wasn’t fair to sleepy Smith to not nap and then be expected to sit still an hour while she did gymnastics. Five minutes later…Andrew calls back and says Uncle Sean wants to take Kensington to gymnastics. So there you go. Smith is napping and Uncle Seanie has K at gymnastics. Those Lowe men are being awfully sweet to my babies today. Thank you both! I guess what they say is true…like father like son. I have some sweet men in my family. Love!
