Aren’t these fun? One of my favorite little cupcake cookbooks had a recipe for topping cupcakes with Lucky Charms cereal…I decided to pick through the box and just top mine with the shamrocks and rainbows in honor of St. Paddy’s Day. My kiddos thought these were the absolute best cupcakes ever!! Everyone should eat a lucky cupcake on St. Patrick’s Day, right?
Shopping List
1 box white cake mix (plus eggs, oil and water per box directions to prepare)
1 can white frosting
Green sprinkles
Lucky Charms cereal
Prepare cupcakes as directed by boxed mix. Once cooled, top cupcakes with store bought white icing, sprinkles and Lucky Charms cereal.
That’s it! It doesn’t take a lot of work to make something this magically delicious!
