**Make sure you read the entire post…tomorrow, I’m giving away two $50 gift cards to Target…see below to find out how!**
I’m super, super excited that the Bachelor episodes are about to be on the road! As much as I love the LA shows, I know that the real fun begins when they travel. Before we take a look ahead, I thought we could take a look back at Shay and Sean as kiddos…
Me and my little brother…ok, he’s two years and 3 weeks younger than me but seriously…he was HUGE!
Christmas morning. I’m 2 and he’s not quite 6 weeks old.
Sweetness if I do say myself 🙂
I think we both look like Smith in this picture.
Sean was entertaining the ladies in the “hot tub” well before ABC approached him to do the Bachelor 😉
If his Factory Girl business doesn’t pan out, I think he has real potential for a railroad engineer.
My mom must have taken all of the pictures when we were growing up because I couldn’t find one of her! However, my dad is lookin’ pretty good, right?!
I’m praying Us Weekly picks up this picture. I know they read the blog…please Us Weekly, publish this photo of Sean as a ghost. I’m begging you ;)!
Me and my brother…a bond that lasts forever.
Ok…the top FOUR things I loved most about last night’s show…
1. Sarah and roller derby…come on…that was heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time. Sweet girl!
2. Amanda learned the great lesson that pride often comes before the fall.
3. The “chocolate” comment…you thought that was awkward to watch at your house? Try explaining it to your 4 and 3 year olds!
4. The outtakes at the end! Andrew and I laughed so hard!
This is the current issue on newsstands of Us Weekly…
And inside are the 25 Things You Don’t Know About Sean Lowe…can I just say…we are SO MUCH ALIKE! Andrew, Mom, Dad and I were laughing at how similar the two of us are (Sean did not consult me before submitting these answers!). I’m pretty sure I do 24 out of the 25 things on that list. It’s not just the blue eyes and dimples we both share :).

The old photos are fantastic! Isn't fun to see how our children favor us as kids?!
Mollie says
Y'all were so adorable, Shea!! I would love to see a post on your mom's meatloaf. =)

The old photos are super sweet! I had that exact witch costume when i was 5! US Weekly most definitely needs to publish Sean as a ghost….too cute!

So cute!
Last night made me mad at Sean for keeping Tierra. She is so manipulative! (At least what we see on the show!)

Love your brother as the bachelor. He is my favorite bachelor ever. He is such a stand up guy and I hope he finds his happily ever after. Love your blog too! Look forward to following it for a long time!

Your brother is such a good sport for (I assume?) agreeing to let you post his baby pictures in the midst of his reign as Most Shirtless Bachelor 🙂 The resemblance between both of you and Smith is undeniable! Thank you for reminding everyone what REAL people you and your brother are. Yet again I was so touched watching the show last night. Some of the things (like showering the girl with diamonds, etc.) didn't seem natural to him, but the way he encouraged Sarah seemed so honest that you could tell that's how he is whether there is a camera around or not. Ashlee also stands out as a remarkable person who shares his compassion for others. As far as Tierra … well, who among us has never made a mistake in judgment? XOXO

Your brother MADE it to the Pioneer Woman's website!!

I thought that AshLee encouraging Sarah when she didn't know the cameras were on showed how much character she has. She seems like a really sweet person! So excited for next week – 2 episodes in a row!!
Just a question – would Selma's Muslim upbringing and religion be a problem for Sean? I know he has said he wants someone with similar believes, which I understand, so I don't think it would be bad if he was looking for someone with the same beliefs. It is hard though bc I am sure he feels pressure from America like he should keep her because otherwise it will look bad.

You are really sweet sister.
Eclecti-City says
Do you eat 18 egg whites a day? = )
Mix and Match Mama says
Lots of questions! Ok…
1. I do eat a lot of egg whites daily!
2. I will never post pictures of us from Junior High. Ever!! 🙂
Kristin says
Love all the cute pictures! I had a witch costume that looked identical to the one you had on. Love the 80's, ha! Too funny!

Do you guys ear hard boiled egg whites or scrambled…or something else?
AmyJo says
Ok, the car thing at the end had me laughing out loud. I even called Chris in to watch and he was even laughing. So stinkin' funny! That may have made me like him more than anything else.

Um…you need to pop on over to the Pioneer Woman's blog, she posted a whole thing about the Bachelor, she is hysterical! You must comment and let her know who you are! I commented and gave my ten cents about growing up with the Lowe fam at church and that his sister, my friend, is the "Mix and Match Mama". Who knows, maybe one day she'll feature you on her Food Network show! 😉 Sean is famous for being the Bachelor and you could be famous on the Food Network…you never know!!
{Hi Sugarplum!} says
Love all those baby pictures…leave it to a big sis to embarrass him! 🙂 Those cupcakes are killing me!!
Karen Peterson says
That outtake at the end last night was SO hilarious!
I have to say, we were more than a little upset at Sean for not giving the rose to Sarah during that group date. She is awesome.
Hannah Heres says
Love the baby pictures!! So precious 🙂

Love your blog. Read it all the time. I have 3 children; my older two are 17 months apart (ages 6.5 and 5) and I also have a 13 month old. I used to blog and I know how much time and effort goes into it. Thank you for your hard work & dedication! 🙂
Aubrey says
Halloween 1985 I wore that EXACT SAME witch's costume (but with a broom and green face paint) and my little sister wore that EXACT SAME ghost beanie (but with white face paint). If Us Weekly ever wants to feature two completely average, boring, late 20's/early 30's women, they are welcome to my picture. 🙂
Liah says
Thanks for sharing Shay. I wonder what Sean looked liked as a teenager though. Did he go through an awkward stage or was he always good looking?
P.S. Between the rape whistle mention and the fustrated 'Son of a Bitch' I'm liking your brother even more.
cpenner says
For the love of everything…. what's Sean's Words With Friends name?
mel @ the larson lingo says
Ummm, you and Sean are the CUTEST. Seriously. I have 2 sisters & never had a brother. My sisters and I are SO close. Seeing you with your brother makes my heart melt. I hope Kate & Claire will be that close with Luke, especially as adults. Love your family!!

You have such a beautiful family! Keep the photos coming!

I just love your brother! He is the most genuine bachelor ever! I truly hope he found the woman of his dreams!
Lacey says
HAHA love it. I soooo had that witches costume when I was a kid!
Lacey says
Love it. old photos are so great. I totally had that same witches costume as a kid!
Beth says
Just reading your blog for the first time and loving it! How do you make so many yummy desserts and look so great? THey look amazing! Have to say that your witches costume gave me a blast to the past–I wore the EXACT same one back in the mid 80's and have plenty of pictures. I was living in Texas at the time too, so maybe it was popular 😉
Erika says
I'm just now finding your bachelor posts through another blog (I love The Bachelor) and this post is the cutest! Loved seeing the baby pics 🙂 Also, your desserts look completely amazing, I must must try to make some.
