I couldn’t celebrate Valentine’s Day without a pink cake, right? Last year, I did a Strawberry Bundt Cake for the occasion, but this year, a pink cake with cream cheese frosting was the way to my heart.
Shopping List
1 box of white cake mix
2 small boxes of instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup of veggie oil
1 1/4 cups water
4 eggs
Pink food coloring (see below)
1 can cream cheese frosting
Pink sprinkles
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease (I use Pam) a 10 inch bundt pan or 12 mini bundt pans.
In mixing bowl, combine cake mix, puddings, oil, water and eggs with an electric mixer. Mix in a few drops of pink food coloring. Pour into prepared bundt pan.
Bake 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean for a large bundt cake or 16 to 18 minutes for mini cakes.
Let cake rest on counter in pan 10 minutes. Then, invert cake onto serving plate to finish cooling.
Frost cooled cake with cream cheese frosting and add pink sprinkles.
These little cakes just say love, don’t they? I buy my pink food coloring at Hobby Lobby or Michael’s but places like Williams-Sonoma usually carry it too. If you can’t find pink, just use a little red. Your sweethearts will love their Pink Velvet.
Happy Valentine’s Week!

Have you ever subbed applesauce for the veggie oil? I typically do when baking and wondered how it tastes in your bunt cake recipes. Thanks!
Mix and Match Mama says
I haven't subbed it in one of my bundt cakes but I have in other cakes before. If you try it, let me know how it turns out!

Question, do you have a method or secret you use for cleaning bundt cake pans or any type of baking pans for that matter? Mind all have grease baked on them and i've tried everything (baking soda, vinegar) and it will not budge!
ps loved watching you on the bachelor last night!
Mix and Match Mama says
I run my bundt cake pans through the dishwasher and that always does the trick! It might be time for you to invest in a new one though. Mine are from Williams-Sonoma.
