Aren’t they just so festive? My kiddos were super excited about these Krispies! The key to making Rice Krispies Treats easy is to do as much of the prep work in advance as you can. Measure out your cereal first, open up the M&M bag (and maybe munch on a couple), have your food coloring out and the lid off…this way, when you start assembling them, you can work quickly.
And I used pink food coloring (not red) to get my bars this pretty pink color. If you can’t find pink (which is readily available at the grocery store), then use yellow or green (or purple!). All are festive for Easter.

I love that these are pink! They are so cute for Easter. A must do with the girls I babysit. Also, I found a coupon for Easter m&m's in the mail today, must be fait!

This is so embarrassing but I have NEVER made Rice Krispie treats. Ever. I am usually anti-baking b/c preciseness kills me. But with daddy out of town & stir crazy kids, I decided this was the perfect thing for us to make and eat. So yummy! Thanks for the cute idea — we did one light blue batch & one pink 🙂
