Description
Should your back to school season need a really yummy bar, here you go 🙂 . You’ll have a hard time resisting these buttery bars. Enjoy! xx
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box yellow cake mix (do not prepare)
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 3 cups oats, uncooked (can be regular or quick cooking)
- 1½ cups creamy peanut butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Grease (I use Pam) a 9×12 baking dish. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl combine cake mix, butter, and oats tossing until crumbly. Spread 2/3 of oats mixture across the bottom of baking dish. Pat oats mixture down to form a “crust” layer.
- Next, spread your peanut butter over the crust mixture with a spoon (don’t worry if it doesn’t completely cover the crust, it will melt when baking and spread out).
- Crumble the remaining 1/3 of your oats mixture over the top of the peanut butter and lightly press it down.
- Bake about 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool at least 20 minutes before slicing and serving.

The peanut butter crumb bars would be great with some mini chocolate chips in them. They look amazing. Hope you are having a blessed day.
