My favorite kind of cake is a piece of birthday cake or wedding cake. You know…a white celebration cake! I thought there was no better way to end my 100 Bundt Cakes than with a Celebration White Cake. The kind of cake you make for special occasions…the simple white cake just means you’re celebrating.
If you want to make my Bundt Cake #100 Celebration White…here is the recipe…
Shopping List
1 box of white cake mix
2 small boxes of instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup of veggie oil
1 1/4 cups of water
4 eggs
3 teaspoons almond extract, divided
1 can vanilla frosting
sprinkles, optional
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease (I use Pam) a 10 inch bundt pan
In mixing bowl, combine cake mix, puddings, oil, water and eggs with electric mixer. Add in 2 teaspoons extract and beat until blended. Pour into prepared bundt pan.
Bake 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let cake rest on counter in pan 10 minutes. Then, invert cake onto serving plate to finish cooling.
To make the frosting, pour remaining teaspoon of almond extract into your canned frosting. Stir until incorporated. Frost cooled cake.
That’s it! I’m done! I have mixed and matched 100 Bundt Cakes using the same basic recipe. I’m pretty proud of my little accomplishment. Don’t be sad that this journey has ended…coming August 25…
I’m going to mix and match 100 bars…get excited!
And for fun, I had Rachel New herself pick out the bar recipe that I’ll be mixing and matching. She gave me the Original Bundt Cake recipe many years ago, so it only seemed appropriate that she select the bar recipe too. Without Rachel New and that little bundt cake recipe, none of this would have happened. Love you Rachel!

Congratulations on your 100th bundt cake, Shay!!! Celebration white is definitely the most fitting for the milestone. These recipes definitely need to be bound in a cookbook! I would buy it 🙂
Fun facts about your bundt cakes:
1. I own two bundt pans (one metal and one silicone) but never made a bundt cake before I started reading your blog.
2. Bundt cakes are awesome since you can sample a small slice and then push the ring together without anyone knowing. (I have perfected this technique!)
3. They are far less work and mess than layer cakes.
4. As much as I enjoyed your 100 Bundt Cakes, I am even more excited for your 100 bars … they are cousins of the brownie, which, in my opinion, is the best dessert ever.
Lots of love! You still inspire me every day! XOXO

Yum! I'm excited for the bars! Can I ask what brand of bundt cake pan you use? Any suggestions? Mine is ok, but it can be a little tricky to shake the cake out without causing any damage.
Shawnee says
Made this last night…..so, so, so good!!! I only iced half because my hubby and kids prefer no icing and it is really good both ways!!!!

Random question- where did you get your wrought iron cake stand? I love it and can't seem to find one anywhere.
Thanks!

That cake stand was a gift from my grandmother. I'm not sure where she got it. Sorry!

I made this for our Christmas Eve dinner tonight and it was a hit! My kids, dad,and husband (and me too) all loved it. I left the frosting off and just drizzled some powdered sugar/milk glaze on with sprinkles, so yummy. Thank you!

Shay,
I have been eyeing this recipe for about 1 week now. Just got married a month ago and I was hoping I would get a bundt pan as a wedding gift but it didn't happen! But I think I am taking the plunge and baking this puppy up this weekend. I just have to go buy a bundt pan. Can't wait to see how it turns out!!!
