This week, I’m repeating a few ingredients to help you use what you buy and not waste a thing. Maple, sliced brisket and Biquick will all be used more than once. Dinner should be on your table every night this week without much work on your part.
Day 1: Maple Crusted Chicken is a great alternative to a basic chicken supper. The sweet and crunchy coating is fast to prepare and will be loved by your entire family. We’ll use both maple and Bisquick later in the week in two other recipes.
Day 2: Southwestern Sausage Pasta is not just a boring spaghetti and meat sauce supper. It’s a little bit spicy (but not too hot for your kiddos) and packs a ton of flavor. I used turkey sausage in my recipe but you can use whatever your family loves. You might want to make twice as much pasta and keep half of it for Day 4. Just toss the extra pasta with a little Extra Virgin Olive Oil before putting it in the fridge.
Day 3: Brisket Tacos cook all day in the slow cooker for you! Go ahead and make a 5 to 6 pound brisket and save the leftovers for Day 5!
Day 4: Slow Cooker Balsamic Chicken is another great slow cooker dinner. This supper cooks up so quickly and will be on your table in minutes. I served mine with brown rice but you can absolutely serve it with leftover pasta from Day 2.
Day 5: Tex Mex Brisket Salad is a great way to use up your leftover brisket from Day 3. Dinner will come together in a matter of minutes (plus, look at all of those yummy veggies your family will be eating!).
My Maple Bundt Cake (#73!) is the perfect way to use up some of your maple syrup from Day 1. This yummy cake is perfect for fall days…and even great for breakfast too.
Apple Spice Cobbler is the recipe of September. This quick dessert takes only a minute or two of prep time and will make your entire house smell like fall. This is the perfect dessert for weeknight TV watching :).
My Ultimate Sausage Balls use up Bisquick too (like Day 1) and work as either a yummy breakfast or fun appetizer. You will not believe how quickly these yummy sausage balls disappear in your house. Everyone will love snacking on these guys!
I hope you have a wonderful week!

LOVE this! I will be printing these off and storing them in my weekly planner. My girls and I made your pumpkin whoopie pies with cinnamon cream cheese frosting over the weekend and OH MY. They were a big hit!

Just out of curiosity- have you ever made it with coke zero or diet? Does it change the taste a lot? I loved it with coke I was just curious. Thanks for a great meal!!

Shay, love your blog! Have tried many recipes and they are great. Tried the maple chicken tonight though and it didn't quite work. The coating/topping stick to the foil both times I flipped it. Has that ever happened to you? Any tips? Thanks for all your recipes- love trying them!

If your Maple Chicken was sticking, it makes me think your pan wasn't sprayed with enough Pam. Did you line it with foil? Foil plus Pam should make it flip easily. I'm thinking that must be the problem!
