Um, yeah. So these were really, really, really good.
Typically, when my girlfriends come over, they always request that I make my Ham & Swiss Pinwheels.
My friends think they’re super yummy and I love them because they’re so simple…it’s a win-win situation.
The other night, they were coming over and I decided that instead of making my pinwheels, I would use the exact same ingredients and mix and match it into biscuit sliders. And then I drizzled them with honey. And then things got really fabulous :).
These little sandwiches are great for lunch, light suppers with a salad, as a snack, as breakfast or as an appetizer…seriously, just make them. Like today.
This recipe makes 8 sandwiches.
Shopping List
1 (16 oz) can of biscuits (I used Grands)
1/2 pound of deli sliced ham ( I used Boar’s Head)
1/2 pound thinly sliced Swiss cheese
Honey to drizzle
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Bake your biscuits per packaged directions.
Remove biscuits from oven and allow to cool a minute or two. Keep your oven on and your baking sheet out.
Slice each biscuit in half and lay the two pieces out. Top one half of each biscuit with a few pieces of ham and a few pieces of cheese. Add the top back on the biscuit and place all 8 of your sandwiches back on a foil lined baking sheet.
Drizzle a tablespoon or so of honey down over each sandwich. Place your baking sheet full of sandwiches back in the hot oven and bake another 5 minutes. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
The next morning, I heated one of the leftover sandwiches up for breakfast with my coffee and it was just as yummy as the night before. Enjoy!

Oh, yum, those sound good. Have you tried the Pillsbury Grands frozen biscuits? They are awesome! I like them a lot better than the canned ones.

We made a similar version to this –except we used the flaky layers biscuits and put the ham and cheese in the middle before we cooked the biscuits. And we added a Little honey mustard in the middle and let it all bake together. The flavor was AWESOME!!!

Hi Shay, I have been a follower of your blog (both this one and your family one) for a few months now and wanted to say hi! I just made these sliders tonight for dinner and they are AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for such an awesome recipe. I've also made your sausage corn chowder which is always received well with my family. I live in Frisco and hope to see you around Stonebriar sometime! 😉 I actually just met Sheaffer the other day at Stonebriar! Thanks for all the great recipes and for allowing us into your life!
