Happy Wednesday to YOU! Here’s what’s been going on this past week…
Day 183: We woke up on this day and Andrew was home from Turkey! Woohoo! We had missed him so much!
Day 184: Did somebody say three day weekend?!?!
Day 185: Happy July 4th!!
Day 186: I gave the kiddos a little treat on our lazy Saturday and when I walked by, they were both sitting there exactly the same eating it. I just love these two so much…I love those little feet and tiny toes :).
Day 187: Smith talks non-stop. Non. Stop. At lunch on Sunday, I told him that if he didn’t stop talking and start eating I would stab him with my fork…he’s obviously not scared.
Day 188: On this Monday, I was called out of my class at the gym because one kid gave the other kid a bloody nose. My little crazies and their mugshot :). Both kids were crying and both kids said over and over that it was an accident…sigh. They’re a hot mess some days but accidents happen.
Day 189: On Tuesday mornings this summer, I’ve been taking the kids to Starbucks for breakfast, and it’s been one of our very favorite things. I love this curly K right here!
And just a few other Instagram pics from our week…
Erika invited us over the other night for some swimming and silly string. My kiddos had a blast!!
We pulled in from the gym and I went to grab the empty trashcans off the curb…my sweet boy told me he would do it because it was “man work”. My sweet baby is getting so big! I can tell he likes to help out around the house just like his daddy.
Girlfriend has no fear and is a fish! She could swim all day :).
All girl. After dinner on the patio, she “laid out” with her glasses, her purse and her dog…in a dress, of course.

…my Ham and Swiss Biscuit Sliders. Holy goodness!
Sheaffer {Pinterest Told Me To} says
The 3 day weekend picture of the kids is precious. And that is too funny that they both sit like that! And those biscuit sandwiches? I had 2 at your house. TWO. They were delicious! And I also stuffed my face with everything else you had there.

Can you pleeeeease do a Shade of Shay on building a pool? We are wanting to do it, but I need to know the good, the bad, and the ugly!!! Thank you!

Your family is super adorable! I'm new around here, found you through Andrea and am loving catching up 🙂 Hope you're having a great week!

I have a question that you TOTALLY don't have to answer. I feel a little tacky asking at all. BUT…I'm just guessing from pictures that you have a pool at your new house. And Andrea has a pool at her house. But it also looks like y'all go to a country club or community/neighborhood/gym pool most days. Why do y'all not just get together at each other's homes? We don't really have many community pools in our area (I can think of three and we're not members of any) but LOTS of people have pools at home and forego the cost of a membership. That's the reason I ask.

What do your kiddos have to drink at Starbucks? I never know what to get my little one. 🙂
Mix and Match Mama says
Even though Erika and I have pools, we all like to visit our community pool too. We like that it's convenient for larger groups, the mess stays there, people don't feel bad staying really late (they know they're not bothering an individual homeowner) and it's just a good place for the kiddos to socialize (plus it's much bigger and has a diving board!). We try and change it up and meet at different places (our gym has a pool too and we often swim there as well). I hope this helps! Thanks!

Ha I have a boy that talks and talks. Non. Stop. He's 10 now and after all the years of talking we finally see the benefit. We NEVER have to guess how his day was or what went on at school, he shares it all!

Where did you find the leopard print stools? I need those along with your leopard carpeting!

That mug shot is too awesome for words. Love all the pics, but that one takes the cake!

I totally meant Erika, not Andrea. So many of y'all! 😉
