Yay!! It’s Friday! I’m linking up with Andrea, Erika and Narci and sharing my favorite things this Friday, and after Wednesday’s coat post, I’m featuring favorite coats under $200 for you!
You ladies apparently LOVE you a coat! My inbox was flooded with emails about your coat obsession, so this time, I went through and picked out my favorites that are all under $200 and all from Nordstrom (because they’re having their major 40% off Clearance Sale now, so I thought we’d kill two birds with one stone).
First though, a few of my other favorite things this week…
Okay…I’m not going to lie…I am like super obsessed with Taylor Swift’s new 1989 album. I don’t know why but I love it! We are shaking things off over here and welcoming ourselves to New York plus we never go out of style (if you don’t have the album, you won’t understand any of that!). The kids and I have been singing and dancing to the album for over a week now. Love. It.
And you know how I love a good holiday polish line…well, OPI’s collaboration with Gwen Stefani is totally fun, sparkly, happy and fabulous for this season. I’m going to have to swap out my polish colors every two days just to use them all! Tis the season for some sparkly nails!
And if you know me at all, you know my thoughts on this…
…I get more excited than any grown woman should when Bath and Body Works’ Vanilla Bean Noel arrives. It’s ridiculous. I can totally admit that.
Speaking of things that smell yummy…on my foodie blog today…
And wrapping up my Friday Favorites today…my favorite coats under $200! Tomorrow, I’m going to have a special Saturday post with more coats (woohoo!) and other Nordstrom Clearance items (it’s time to buy gifts friends!).
This coat was a really big hit on my coat post! Apparently, we all love the quilted design and let me vouch that the material is really nice and soft. This is a really good coat!
Several of you said you loved the espresso color too! Doesn’t she look so cute? And she’s just wearing a basic tee with that jacket thrown over it!
Along with the quilted jacket, I found this cute Guess black faux-leather jacket and this cute white leather one too.
And several of you bought this peacoat during the Anniversary Sale like I did and have the same happy review…for only $58, it’s pretty darn perfect (and available in 5 colors!).
I had many of you tell me to buy this Jessica Simpson coat…a few of you even said it was very “Olivia Pope”. I bought it in black and really love it! It also comes in grey!
Speaking of Olivia Pope…wouldn’t she wear something like this if she and Fitz were skiing in Vermont? I totally think she would.

I live in MN so this weeks post have been perfect for a Midwestern girl! We can never have too many jackets up here. 2 things: I am loving the Taylor Swift cd as well. My 5 month old and I dance to it 😉 the comment about The white puffer with Olivia and Fitz skiing in Vermont.. Too funny!! Now I need to go watch last nights episode.

My girls and I love Taylor Swift and have a lot of her music. I bought this cd and started playing it in the car without even thinking some of the content would be inappropriate! Song 9 talks about her and a guy with his clothes on the floor or in the bedroom. To me…not appropriate for a 10 year to listen to. Some songs are awesome and catchy but disappointed that we can't listen to the whole cd!

Yep- my 9-year-old got the TS CD for her birthday last week, and I promptly confiscated it for my car. I'm "shaking it off" as I write this in the carpool line (it's not moving yet). I just wrote a post about colored coats and plaid scarves, and that Nordstrom one is on my list! Just ordered it in green. Thanks for the other coat recs–another arctic blast is supposed to hit Dallas next week!

I just go tbt Jessica Simpson, aka Oivia Pope, coat today in gray. I was actually one of the ones who commented on Facebook that it looked like Oliva Pope. Found it on sale plus an additional 10% off. Love it!!
