I don’t know about your family but in our family, midway through opening gifts on Christmas morning, we’re hungry and break for a little fuel. We grab some coffee, a plate of yumminess and sit back down to either finish opening gifts or to admire the gifts we’ve just opened.

An easy breakfast that requires zero fuss on the big day…check, check.
We always have Butterscotch Monkey Bread on Christmas Day. It’s always, always, always a crowd pleaser! If you’re feeling extra festive, my Egg Nog Monkey Bread is really delicious too!
If you’re more of a French Toast kind of family…
…my Blueberry French Toast Bake is assembled the night before and just popped in the oven the morning of.
If your family likes things more on the savory side, my mother-in-law’s Sausage Breakfast Casserole is the perfect make ahead breakfast! We love, love, love this hearty casserole on chilly mornings.
Or you could try my Tex-Mex Breakfast Casserole too! Such a yummy little mix and match on the original recipe!
Whether you do savory or sweet, you just need to do something simple. Grab some coffee and OJ and enjoy your morning with your family.

We have our ingredients for our breakfast casserole and I think my mouth is watering already! It is also a tradition to have a pecan kringle to get some sweetness at breakfast. Many times we get them fresh from Wisconsin, but you can pick them up at Target in the bakery department. I highly recommend it!
Also, have you heard Sam Smith's "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" yet!? swoooon 🙂

We usually race out the door to my mom's, but this year we're staying home later…I think a few of these will have to be on the menu!

Me and my family will be traveling to the Dallas area this weekend. Do you have any recommendations for some Christmas fun for us to do. My kids are 11 & 8. We have been to the Ice show at the Gaylord Texan before. Was just wanting to have a great little fun weekend with my sweet little family.

I've always done monkey bread, but last year we tried your Sausage and Egg one with the Texas Toast croutons and we loved it! I plan on doing that one again, but this year I don't have to have morning sickness along with it. Yay for that!!!

You need to go back and read my family blog from the last two weeks! There are so many fun things to do in the Dallas area this time of year! The Trains at North Park Mall are fun, Frisco has a great light show and much more! Have so much fun!!

So many of these look amazing! I have a HUGE favor to ask as a food allergy person. Would you ever be up for adding nut, egg, dairy allergy friendly recipes into your labels so that I can hunt through and find what works for my family easier? I have learned to make substitutes but sometimes it is helpful to be able to just click "egg free" recipes and go!
Thanks for sharing today! Heather (www.thebrothersmama.blogspot.com)

Wanted to tell you, I made the Breakfast Casserole the night before Christmas, (the one with Croutons), and it was REALLY yummy. I was a little leery of the Caesar croutons, but wow, what great flavor it added! So good today as leftovers even. Thanks for sharing!
