Happy Friday! Just like every Friday, I’m linking up today with my girls Narci, Erika and Andrea and bringing you my favorite things from this week.
Today is an extra special Friday because as of today, I’ve been this guy’s wife for 11 years…
…awwwww! Eleven years ago today, I said “I do” to this sweet guy and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Our marriage isn’t without it’s ups and downs but seriously, he makes being married to him pretty darn easy. I love you Andrew Shull.
Okay…enough mushy business…that is my #1 favorite thing this week…and here are a few more…
I had the sweet pictures Narci took of my kiddos turned into canvases for my kitchen. This just makes me smile.
When I’m walking this direction, I can see my babies’ faces all the way down the hallway. This is one of my favorite things in my house.
This week, a friend connected me to another friend here in my town…a sweet mama of twins who blogs. My new friend Meredith’s blog Twin Talk is for mamas with twins…and it’s adorable (plus really informative!). I thought all of you other twin moms out there will love checking out Twin Talk too. When you’re raising littles at home, it’s good to stay connected with other mamas like yourself. You can’t have too many supportive and loving people in this world.
Speaking of sweet people who are my favorites this week…
…back in January, I posted this pic of Ashby and Smith baking. Well, Erika had given us these aprons last year and sweet Honey Pie Accessories noticed that Ashby was wearing Kensington’s (because she doesn’t have one) and sent me one for Ashby. How sweet is that?!
How sweet is this apron? It’s perfect for our sweet girl.
Thank you so much Honey Pie Accessories!
On Monday, I talked about books and oh goodness…you ladies had so many suggestions for me! I started writing down what I should be reading next…
…and had to stop myself after eight books. If you love a good book, you should go back now to my book post and read through the comments. There are just so many good suggestions! Thank you so much to everyone who commented and shared their favorite reads! I cannot wait to start reading off of my list!
Also, several of you asked if I had a Goodreads account…and I did not…but now, I do :). You can view my Goodreads account here. Happy reading!
And speaking of great suggestions…on Tuesday, I blogged about my favorite makeup products and you ladies once again offered so many great suggestions for makeup!
This is another great post to go back to and read through the comments. I love that my readers love books and makeup as much as I do :). You can see that post here.
This weekend for dinner, you should make this…
…my Crispy Chicken with Poblano Sauce. My kids loved, my hubby loved it, I loved it…I think you’ll love it too!
Okay…I’m off to celebrate my anniversary tonight! I hope you have fun plans this weekend. See you Monday!

I was a little late reading the "book post" and I saw where someone mentioned the book, Fearless. That is an AMAZING book. It's about a Navy Seal, named Adam Brown, who served on Seal Team 6. The book is kind of on the same lines as, American Sniper, but this book was written with a whole lot of text and input from Adam's gorgeous wife, Kelly, along with his colleagues and those who served alongside him in the military. Adam passed away while he was in battle fighting a top secret mission overseas. This book also tells how Adam struggled with drugs for years and how he served time in jail before joining the Navy and how Christ helped him overcome these tribulations…I believe that this book is even sold at Christian book stores.
I first heard of this book when I began reading a blog by Jill Sullivan, who authors the blog, thesullivanfour.blogspot.com
She writes a lot about her teenage daughter Hannah's battle with brain cancer and the year she fought that battle, before Hannah went to be with Jesus. Hannah's parents, along with Adam Brown's parents, began hosting retreats all over Arkansas, called, While We Are Waiting. Those retreats have been very therapeutic for parents who have lost a child. Anyhow, I saw where you wrote that you love autobiographies and real accounts of people's lives. This book certainly doesn't dissapoint at all. It is incredible!

The book list you have is excellent! I've read and loved many that are on there…but truly, the story of Louis Zamperini is told so much better in his own words in "The Devil at My Heels." You will laugh, cry, and be reminded of the enduring goodness of God's love and provision.
