I made these with Smith and for Smith, That boy loves a Snickers candy bar.
Brownie plus Snickers plus Chocolate Peanut Butter Frosting equals a little bite of heaven.
Enjoy!
Shopping List
1 box of chocolate cake mix
2 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 regular sized Snickers candy bars, chopped into pieces
1/2 cup of butter, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
1 tablespoon or so of milk
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease (I use Pam) a 9×13 baking dish. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl combine cake mix, vegetable oil and eggs with an electric mixer. Stir in chopped Snickers. Pour batter into prepared baking dish and bake about 25 minutes.
Remove bars from oven and allow to cool completely on the counter before frosting.
To make the frosting, beat the butter, powdered sugar, milk, cocoa powder and peanut butter with an electric mixer. Add more powdered sugar if the frosting is too thin and more milk if it’s too thick. Once it reaches the desired consistency, frost the cooled bars. Store in the fridge when not enjoying.
You know the only thing better than eating one of these bars? Spending time in the kitchen with Smith while we made them.
Grab your kiddos and make some too.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoy Meal Planning Monday posts! I've been in a major rut lately and have dreaded planning meals. I decided that each Monday, I would go to your site and pick three of your recipes to do for that week. Easy. I'm enjoying being in the kitchen again and my family is happy we are branching out from "buttered pasta with parmesean". Thanks!

Ok… this might sound crazy but would these be ok without the frosting? Would I just follow the recipe up to that step? My little girl is not a fan of frosting (I know!!)…
