Father’s Day Menu

This weekend, we celebrate our favorite dads!  I find Father’s Day easy to pull together because the men in my life are simple…they want something off the grill.  Give them guacamole, give them something grilled, give them a little dessert and turn baseball on the TV and these two guys are happy as can be.  Here’s what I’m thinking we should make this Father’s Day (or an ole day for that matter!)…
It begins and ends with guacamole in our family.  We could seriously sit down and just eat this for supper.  Tab’s Guacamole is my favorite recipe and for sure on our Father’s Day menu!
A manly holiday calls for a manly burger…Mushroom Burgers baby!
I will also throw some corn on the cobb on the grill as one side and then I’ll serve this…
Broccoli and Grape Pasta Salad as another side.
Add a sliced up watermelon or pineapple to round things out before dessert.
And every single year, my dad asks for the same thing for dessert…
There you have it!  I’ll give my dad something Red Sox, Andrew something Yankees, my father-in-law something for his garage and all three guys are happy as can be.
Happy Father’s Day!

What is it about men and the grill?! Lol. Great menu. I think I'll give that pasta salad a try.

We are making your peanut butter and bacon burger for my husband on father's day. We made those after you posted them and my husband loved them and right away asked if we could have it on father's day! 🙂

How long do you grill your corn? I made it in the oven the other day (350 for 30 minutes before peeling) and that was really good, but it would be nice to not have to turn the oven on. Thanks!
