Every year, this is one of my family’s very favorite traditions…we have a special breakfast while watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
We make coffee and hot cocoa, we stay in our pjs, and we curl up by the fire and watch the parade on TV. This quiet little family moment is one of my favorites!
So, what will we eat? What should you eat? Here are some ideas for your Thanksgiving Day Parade Breakfast! Make one or two, make them all (if you have house guests!)…make something, put on your fuzzy socks and enjoy the parade :).

This is really one of our favorite traditions. Before the craziness of Thanksgiving Day, it’s so nice to just relax and enjoy something festive with my little family. This breakfast right here is something we look forward to all year long.
Enjoy!

I love the idea of a Thanksgiving breakfast menu. I always want to relax and watch the parade, but we're so busy prepping for dinner that we just eat breakfast in survival mode- every person for themself. On Christmas we have cinnamon rolls or a casserole ready while we're opening gifts. Not sure why it hasn't occured to me to do the same for Thanksgiving! 🙂

Your back to school sausage, egg, and cheese casserole is our FAVORITE! I'm headed to HEB now to get ingredients for those muffins!

We always watch the parade too. It's a family tradition around here. That Tex Mex Casserole looks delicious. It might just be what I make to go with our Parade 🙂
