On Saturday morning, they wanted hot chocolate and Home Alone…well, who could say no to that?!
Smith was the first one dressed for Sean’s birthday party and he asked if he could watch Wild Kratts on my laptop. I thought he would take my laptop to you know…the kitchen table or something but no…I found all three of them like this…
My mom went over the top with a tailgating themed birthday party. Shame on me for not taking more pictures! She had her driveway decked out for the party!
The two Lowe kids :).
I mean…half of us are looking…it’s not a great pic…but these are my people and I love them so much.
Finally, the winner of my 3rd $250 Nordstrom Gift Card is…
HOLLY SUCHER!!
Congratulations Holly!!
I emailed you this morning and now, you have 48 hours to email me back and claim your prize!
Didn’t win? No problem, this Friday, I’m giving away another $250 Nordstrom gift card!
Woohoo!

That tailgating party looks like so much fun! I remember for your 30th how I was AMAZED at how she decked out the garage!!!! I also remember taking home a little pumpkin bread! That Sherry knows how to throw a party! And I love the story about A talking to B and telling Andrew that Tab wanted to talk to him! That's hysterical!

Shay, loved this post!! Okay, so, it's probably easy enough to figure out, but I'm requesting a special edition of your foodie blog – featuring your mom's pie in a jar recipe (and what jars she used)… Thinking this would be a great present for friends this season!!

It's crazy how much Smith looks like you in your childhood pics! And your hair in the pics at Sean's party is gorgeous! Definitely a great hair day! Without sounding stalker like, I absolutely thought about your family when I heard about Paris. Praying for everyone, so terrible…

Thank you for sharing your post about finding faith. Over the last year or so I have been working on my relationship with God. I got confirmed at Easter 2014 and enjoyed the experience so much. My family was not very religious growing up, and my husband's was, so it was also a good bonding experience for the both of us as he was so supportive and helpful during this time (I didn't know much about the bible!). I found myself questioning God on Friday night so it was comforting to see so many other people continuing to pray. I hope that one day, I will have the same relationship as you do! Love your blog. Thanks again 🙂

That pic of you and Andrew prepping to decorate for Christmas is totally my husband and I! Oh to have such great men who hang those dang lights for us women! And thank you so much for your continuous reminder of Christ and how we are living this life waiting to get to our everlasting one. Thank you so much for your strength!

Your mom throws such awesome parties!!!! And smith looks sooo big in the pic where his is wearing his jammies!!

Smith's two different shoes…BWAHAHAHA! I was so focused on our family photo this weekend that I failed to realize that the only shoes I packed for Ella were tall brown boots. Poor kid had to wear her leather boots with shorts and play clothes all week long. How old do they have to be before they pack for themselves??

Smith looks just like you! 🙂

There are so many comments that I want to make about this post, but there's only one that keeps bubbling up: How in the world do you light your mantle? Is the swag battery operated? Do you have a plugin up high? Do you magically disguise the cord and plug it in down low? So very many questions about something so small…..
