It’s Fall in Here!


Okay, so pumpkins make me happy.

I love everything about them and it ALWAYS makes me joyful to add them to my house in the fall.

Every year, I do a little fall home tour because…I like looking at fall decorations on other people’s blogs, so I always share my fall stuff with you too.  I get absolutely giddy when it’s time to pull the fall stuff down from the attic.  If you are not into a bunch of fall decorations, skip this post and come back tomorrow. #becauseitspictureoverload #pumpkinoverload #welovefall

I mean, it’s just a bunch of pictures of fall things…but it makes my heart so happy!  Fall stuff is just COZY and this time of year, we love to be inside where it’s warm and cozy.

    Where did you get Madelyn and Ashby’s shirts? The countdown to Halloween sign that says The Shills? And the ” pumpkin zpuce” season sign? Love them all!

      The shirts are from Gap, the countdown sign is from PB and the sign is from Hobby Lobby :).

    Love it!! I adore the big pumpkins in your foyer. Also, this is probably weird of me but I recently got a pair of super comfy boots and they made me think of you because they seem like something you may like. Check out the sorel lea booties from Nordstrom. (Tried to post a link but I failed) I got the elk color! Happy fall!!

    Love love love!! So beautiful and classy!!! We decorated our porch this weekend (I may have gone slightly overboard…) and the inside has a few touches of fall here and there.

    You house is so beautifully decorated, for every season. Please tell me, how do you keep your kids from not playing with your decorations?? Seriously, as I was looking at the pictures I could help but think “if this was my house all that stuff would be broken” lol 🙂

      You know what? I’ve never thought about that before but I guess they just don’t? I get asked about how I keep my kids out of the bowls of candy around my house and I think the trick to that is keeping it out all the time. I notice when their friends come over, they go straight to it but my kids don’t because it’s out all the time, so it’s not as enticing or interesting to them.

    But where on earth do you STORE it all when it’s not in use?? That’s a blog post I’d like to see!! I’ve worked so hard to have all of our xmas things together, all of our Halloween things together and all of our Easter things together…but they take up so much SPACE!! 🙁

    Beautiful house though, I love decorating for any occasion going!!

    Loved all your photos but my favorite is the porch photo with all your kids. I love that the two littles are wearing matching sister outfits.
    I’m a fall lover (September birthday) and love pumpkins too. My favorite pumpkin treat is pumpkin smoothies since I won’t let myself eat all the pumpkin ice cream I’d really like to have. Because if I did, I’d be pumpkin shaped pretty darn quick.

    I usually buy one piece per season to add, but I haven’t even bought anything extra so it was kind of nice to decorate with everything I already had. I love all those Fall signs you have in the kitchen!

    I ADORE all of your fall decor! I love that you use traditional fall colors like oranges and yellows and reds. So many other people do neutral fall decor, but to me, neutral colors do not fall decor make. To me, fall is all about God’s creations showing off their vibrancy!

    And I also see that you’ve been shopping at Hobby Lobby… I have that same marquee pumpkin, but I got the taller version. :o) Love me some Hobby Lobby and love me some fall decor! It makes me so happy!!!!

      Pottery Barn! It’s a mercury pumpkin and I put a strand of Christmas lights inside of it.

    I’ve read this post multiple times today, loving it still! Random question, where did you get the wooden servers/trays/stands whatever you call them! 🙂 The one with the “FALL” sign on it and the one with the candle and measuring cups? I thought I saw some at Pottery Barn but I don’t think these are them. Would love to know!

      You’re so funny Anita! I decorated my house for fall the first week my kids went back to school (end of August), so that was pretty easy :).

    Gorgeous! Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I get to pull pull out all my scarves! I love the colors and weather. Sorry I have to confess, I do not like pumpkin flavor anything, but I love to decorate with them!

    How do you go about cleaning your house. I recently had to go back to work and I am so overwhelmed. Do you have a system or do you just tackle it all in one day?

      Cleaning or picking up? Once I opened my travel agency, i had to hire professional help to come clean (mop, dust and stuff), but as far as picking up, I’m constantly doing that. I feel like picking up stuff and cleaning off my kitchen counters is my full time job!
