Today kicks off mine and Sheaffer’s fourth annual FIVE DAYS OF FABULOUS!
Every day this week, Sheaffer and I are giving away fabulous prizes for you and some friends. This is our Christmas gift to YOU! Five days and a lot of fun prizes!
#ialwaysfeellikeoprahwhenwedothis
Prizes will be given away daily and the winners announced the next morning (except for Friday, the prize will be announced the following Monday morning). You have 48 hours to claim your prize before another winner is selected. So, you better be checking back to see who wins! Also, today, I’m sharing our family’s Christmas to-do list, so if you have things I should add to my list PLEASE SHARE in the comment section. Whew! So much in one little post! Here we go…
…TODAY, we are giving away…
…PAJAMAS AND A COZY FAUX FUR THROW!
Eeeeeeks! Wrap me up and leave me there all winter 🙂 .
(And by the way…Sheaffer and I decided to make fun pictures and videos this year to showcase our prizes. Brace yourselves…we get pretty silly and crazy with this!)
One winner will receive a pair of these super cute PJ Salvage jammies along with one of Pottery Barn’s 50×60 faux fur throws for themselves AND TWO FRIENDS. Tag your friends, family, coworkers, neighbors…whoever you want to win with you on Facebook and Instagram and make sure they enter to win too. You all three will get today’s prizes!
So, Sheaffer and I basically built this week’s entire theme around these pajamas…
…how cute are they?!?! I’ve been wearing mine now for three weeks and am in love and bonus… they come in 21 fun patterns (not all Christmas themed!) .
They come in 21 different patterns, so there is a pattern for every girl on your Christmas list!
These pajamas are a light flannel, they’re cozy, they’re warm (but not hot)…they make EXCELLENT Christmas gifts (hint, hint) and they pair perfectly with these Pottery Barn throws…
I have been gifting these blankets for years now. I know other places sell faux fur throws, but these are really in another league. The quality and weight of these blankets cannot be matched…plus they come in a gazillion different prints and colors. We have four at my house and everyone is always fighting over them…
They’re amazing…
…she looks sweet, but if you take away her blanket, she’ll eat you for lunch. Bam.
So, friends…this is just DAY ONE! One winner, two friends, everyone gets a pair of pajamas and a cozy fur throw. ‘Tis the Five Days of Fabulous! Enter the Rafflecopter below for your chance to win…and our sweet Canadian friends…do not worry, you will be able to enter to win on days four and five!! One last thing, if you are not on social media, you can enter to win by receiving our daily emails. You can find mine here…
…if you read my blog on your computer or here…
…under my profile pic if you scroll down and are reading on your phone.
Entries are easy every day!
And before we wrap things up today, it’s the Shull family’s Christmas to-do list. We like to pack in the fun every holiday season, so here’s what’s on tap for us…
(I mean…how cute are my note pads?!?!)
Here are a few details on some of the above…
Andrew and I have a love/hate relationship with our elf. We love him at first…but after about five days, we’re so annoyed that we have to move him 🙂 . A few years ago, I chronicled our elf daily and you can see all of his random activities HERE.
Every year, we take a carriage ride around our downtown area. You can see my recap of those rides HERE. This year, we’re actually going on two rides…so, it will be twice as fun!
Last year, sweet little Ashby got to visit Santa for the very first time and this year, it’s Madeley’s turn! We can’t wait 🙂 .
And every year, I tell you about our family’s Jammy Cocoa Christmas tradition. My dad started this one way back when I was a kid and now, we do it every year too. To read all about it…click HERE.
Wow! That’s a lot for a Monday! One awesome giveaway plus a bunch of random traditions. Don’t forget to enter below and PLEASE share your Christmas traditions! I’m always looking for new ones!!
This is going to be such a fun week!

I love Christmas!! We have a lot of fun traditions that we do with our daughter too! My mom and I have taken her to see the Nutcracker every Christmas for 12 years in a row! Such fun! But my favorite tradition is our animal shelter visit. We collect goodies for the homeless dogs and cats in our community at our office during December. Then on Christmas Eve, my husband, our daughter and I spend the day passing out toys, treats, and beds to all of the animals. It is my favorite day of the year. Our daughter started this tradition ten years ago. Loving these pajamas today!! Thanks for the fun!

My family adopted your Jammy Cocoa Christmas tradition a few years ago and it’s one of our favorites! The jammies and blanket look so cozy. Makes me want to snuggle up and watch a Christmas movie.
Kelly says
Yay!!! My fingers are crossed to win!!!!
Also, thanks for the reminder of JAMMY COCOA CHRISTMAS!! Its so silly and fun ( just like your dad seems)♡♡♡
Taylor says
So much fun in one post!! We’ve always gotten new PJs on Christmas Eve, so everyone looks spiffy for Christmas photos the next morning. My Dad also always reads the Christmas story from the Bible and ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas on Christmas eve.
ALSO, have you heard of the pickle present?? I’m sure this tradition has a million varieties, but this is how we do it. We have an ornament that is a glass pickle, and santa hides it on the tree when he comes. All kids are allowed into the “tree” room at the same time Christmas morning and the one who finds the pickle gets to open the pickle present. It’s always a big family gift, but it’s fun to have a bit of a hunt first thing in the morning..
Finally, for about 7 years now we’ve been traveling with another family every Christmas – New Years. We alternate between Cayman Islands and someplace else (Hawaii, Austria, Costa Rica, thus far)!
Hmm. That ended up being a lot… Those are some of our most loved traditions. Yay for Christmas – yay mostly for Jesus Christ! Have a wonderful day!

Starting December 1, wrap up 25 different Christmas books and every night they get to open one as their bed time story (you can reuse the same books for a few years)

Awwww LOVE the Jammy Cocoa Christmas tradition!! That’s too cute! I might steal it 🙂
One thing we do every year is build Gingerbread houses! Sometimes I buy a kit, but I’ve found the best ones are done completely from scratch!

A tradition we started when our oldest 2 were small is wrapping a small toy in a toilet paper tube and putting it by their place at dinner on Christmas Eve for them to open. This was our way of letting them open a gift but not those under the tree. It gets more creative when they get older but my boys still love getting transformers and legos, even at 30 & 33!! They have started this tradition too.
Cheryl Nessmann says

Lisa Rohrbough says
Hi Shay!! I adore your blog! Our family Christmas traditions include having a snow day with friends/family and cutting down a Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving, it’s always so fun! I wanted to teach my son that it’s the season of giving so we volunteer with Operation Christmas Child and fill a shoebox with goodies for a kiddo in need! Every Christmas Eve after dinner, we open up Christmas Jammies that have an ornament tied on the box, It’s always fun to look back and past years ornaments while we decorate the tree! We open one small gift and we watch a Christmas movie! Thanks for sharing your traditions!!
