Next weekend, we celebrate our favorite dads! I find Father’s Day easy to pull together because the men in my life are simple…give them guacamole, give them something grilled, give them a little dessert and turn baseball on the TV and these two guys are happy as can be. Here’s what I’m thinking we should make this Father’s Day (or an ole day for that matter!)…
It begins and ends with guacamole in our family. We could seriously sit down and just eat this for supper. Tab’s Guacamole is my favorite recipe and for sure on our Father’s Day menu!
A manly holiday calls for a manly burger…Mushroom Burgers baby!
I will also throw some corn on the cobb on the grill as one side and then I’ll serve this…
…Panzanella Salad as another side.
Add a sliced up watermelon or pineapple to round things out before dessert.
And every single year, my dad asks for the same thing for dessert…
Seriously, he asks for it EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR.
There you have it! I’ll give my dad something Red Sox, Andrew something Yankees, my father-in-law something for his garage and all three guys are happy as can be.
Happy (almost) Father’s Day!

I’m actually going to make brunch for my Dad for Father’s Day, and a Panzanella salad sounds so good (and it’s one of my favourite salads anyway!). The mushroom burger is a great alternative to meat for my Dad too – he eats way too much beef!
