On Tuesday night, we celebrated Ashby’s 5th birthday!
Ashby had asked for a princess party and the very first thing that came to mind was this cute little store on our historic square that hosts little parties like this. Kensington also had her fifth birthday there too! So, we booked it for Tuesday night and it became the easiest and most beloved birthday party of all time. Ashby LOVED it! Here are five billion pictures of Princess Ashby’s birthday party 🙂 .
Andrea created the cutest little invites that we mailed to our friends. This is the front…
…and this is the back.
We arrived ready to PARTY! This picture reminds me of this picture…
…they get big SO FAST!!
Smith had a flag football game that night, so Lovie and Papa Jay came to party with us since Andrew and Smith weren’t there.
All you do is bring cupcakes or a cake to this party…they handle every other detail (drinks, paper goods, crafts, costumes, etc). Seriously, it’s the world’s easiest, yet cutest and most special party! This was the craft station.
Adorable!
They set the table for us. Our colors were pink and gold.
Britt, Erika and Ann Marie came to party too!
Papa Jay was there for the fun! (And psssst: my top is from HERE.)
My friend Emily has the cutest little cupcake/cake/cookie business, and I always love supporting her and having her make our sweets. Our personal favorite is always her cupcakes with mini iced sugar cookies on top!
Adorable, right?!
These two girls were cracking me up! Earlier that day, I asked them if they were going to dress up at the party and they were both like, “No, we’re just going to help the little girls.”. Yeah right. Thirty seconds in the store and they were both in full costume! Ha! They had just as much fun as the littlest ones!
This was Ashby’s first costume and hairdo. She first wore the Belle costume with a big sparkly bun and then later, she switched to Cinderella with braids. Look at all the glitter!
Karaoke was a HUGE hit!
Madeley had the tiniest little sparkly braid 🙂 .
This kid is going to have to have a karaoke party soon. She was obsessed with it!
Life. Of. The. Party.
I can’t stop laughing at her singing! Bahahahaha!
All of the girls got hair, makeup and nails done.
Of course, Ashby’s bestie was included too! He selected a police officer costume to wear for the night!
Lots and lots of singing!
I think Britt loved her first party 🙂 .
Kensington’s fancy hair 🙂
Sing, sing, sing!
Lots of crafting!
Ah! Costume number two!
Sweet Miley 🙂 . I so wish her mama had been there too.
There is always a runway show towards the end. This girl was beaming!
Ha! This one had the best time!
And Miss “I’m too old to participate” nailed the runway!
Kensington had so much fun!
Lots of happy princesses!!
Ms. Erika told Madeley she could hold Britt for a second while we took pictures and Madeley was THRILLED!
Look at that smile!
Group picture!
I brought beach towels for everyone to bring home as a party favor. I loved how the sweet people at the store displayed them for me.
And then it was time to sing Happy Birthday!
Ashby had THE BEST time! It was the perfect party for our little princess!
We kept the celebrating alive when we got home. We let Ashby open a few of our presents to her with Andrew and Smith…
And she got exactly what she wanted…a big girl bike 🙂 .
They came downstairs in matching pajamas…
…that they decided to wear backwards just for fun. These two sisters. I blinked and it was no longer Kensington having the princess party…but Ashby. I know I’m going to blink again and it will be Madeley. Love these girls so much!
Thank you to our sweet friends for coming and making the party so special! We love you girls so much!

My sister and I both used those “Cool Sister Ever” shirts to tell each other that we were pregnant in 2015. I put it on my daughter to announce my second pregnancy to her, and then a few weeks later she bought it and put it on her dog (ha!) to announce that she was pregnant too. 🙂 So I recognized them immediately when I saw K and A in them. That pic of Madeley on the runway steals the show. So cute! What a fun, well-deserve party was Ashby. 🙂
