Okay, it’s mid-July, it’s hot, let’s not fuss with dinner. Easy recipes for your week right here…
Pizza Burgers for dinner this week. Pepperoni, tomato, fresh mozzarella and basil on a burger…yum. Your kids will be all about this dinner!
Cajun Shrimp Pasta might be my kiddos’ all-time favorite dish. We’ve been eating it a lot this summer. They love the shrimp and noodles, and I love how simple it is to whip together.
If you’re just not in the mood to grill or cook on the stove, then my Italian Brisket Sandwiches are what’s for dinner. The slow cooker does the work and you just enjoy the delicious dinner.
My Dijon Oven Potatoes with Grilled Sausages is super family friendly!
End your week with my Chipotle Fish Tacos with a Creamy Slaw. Give me all the tacos this time of year. All of them.
And this week…a bundt cake. If you haven’t looked through my 100 Bundt Cake Recipes, you should :).
This is one of my very favorite bundt cakes…Peanut Butter and Banana. It is insanely moist and dense. So good!
And one more little lunch or light supper recipe for you…
…my Creamy Bacon & Pea Pasta Salad. Delightful.
Happy Monday friends!
Don’t forget…

I am a terrible cook and I really don’t enjoy being in the kitchen at all. But my husband is a foodie. Several months ago, I decided to start trying one of your recipes each week. He has loved them all – especially the great variety of tacos. And they have all been simple enough for me to create on my own. Thanks for helping me out in the kitchen!

I would have totally backed away from the cajun shrimp so thanks for telling us not to be scared of the spicy factor. My kids won’t touch things that are too spicy so I’m going to just use the 2 tablespoons of seasoning and hope it works.
Also, sidenote, I can never find “brisket” at my grocery stores (even though I live in Austin and you’d think they’d have it). What other types of beef work similarly?

For the Cajun shrimp pasta, I can’t have dairy. Do you think it would work with a splash of almond or coconut milk?
Mix and Match Mama says
Totally!!

Cajun shrimp pasta will debut on our meal plan soon. My family loves shrimp! Sadly I don’t. So I’ll portion out some without for me!

Mix and Match Mama says
That would be about right!! You can always add more but you can’t take away any.
