Hey there Monday!
Grab your coffee, pad and pen and jot down this week’s grocery list. Loads of flavor, little work.
When I think of back to school, I always think of mac and cheese. My Jalapeno Bacon Mac & Cheese goes great as a side (serve it up with a simple grilled or baked chicken) or go crazy and eat it as an entree. Either way, the flavor combos will knock your socks off!
I shared my Saucy Bleu Cheese Brisket Sandwich recipe last week…and it is a winner! The best part? It’s a slow cooker recipe, so it’s super simple to prepare. Your family will love this one!
Looking for something cozy to make this week? My Sausage & Pumpkin Soup is it! This little recipe only takes minutes to whip up on the stove top and your whole family will love it. Just add a green salad and dinner is done!
Make dinner tonight super simple with my Chicken Fajita Tacos Sheet Tray Supper. Not only is cooking it easy, but cleaning up after is a breeze!
And round out your week with my Pizza Meatballs. They’re meatballs that taste like pizza. Amen.
My No Bake S’mores Bars are exactly what you need for something sweet this week. These are so simple and perfect for little helpers in the kitchen. I love anything s’more this time of year!
And for breakfast this week, my Maple Apple Sausage Breakfast Casserole. This goes perfectly with coffee and Saturday mornings.
Happy Monday, friends! Have the best start to your week!

I’m super intrigued by that pumpkin soup — I’m vegetarian, do you think it would still taste good without the sausage?

Made the brisket last night and it was fantastic. My modifications were only a regular size can of beef stock (all I had) and a sliced onion. I can’t have brisket without onions. It was amazing!! And plenty of leftovers for my family while I’m away this week! My son is already planning his school lunch sandwiches as well! Served with my own mac & cheese and green beans. Thanks for the inspiration!

Made the pumpkin soup tonight. A cloudy rainy day in sunny California put me in the mood for fall. It was delicious and so easy. I’m a so-so cook and I’m amazed when something turns out right. I love watching your brother Sean on Worst Cooks. I enjoy all the fun they seem to be having. Lucky Catherine, maybe he’ll walk away with some skills.
