Oh friends, I have an easy, easy, easy little recipe for you today! My Saucy Cranberry Meatballs are a MUST this holiday season for your family! We enjoyed ours over rice for supper, but honestly, next time, I’m going to make them as an appetizer and just serve them a la carte instead at a party. Only three ingredients required. If you haven’t had Hoisin sauce…it’s kind of like an Asian BBQ sauce. Trust me, you’ll like it! Who doesn’t need easy recipes like that this holiday season?!
This recipe makes one pound of meatballs.
Shopping List
1 (1 pound bag) of frozen meatballs (we used Italian-style chicken meatballs)
1 (14 oz) can of whole berry cranberry sauce
1 (9 oz) bottle of Hoisin sauce (found on the Asian food aisle)
cooked white rice (if you’re serving as an entree)
chopped green onions (if you’re serving as an entree)
In your slow cooker, add in your meatballs, cranberry sauce and Hoisin sauce. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours or on high 3 to 4 hours.
That’s it!
If you’re serving as an entree, you can plate up some cooked and fluffy rice to go under your meatballs and garnish with a few chopped green onions, or if you’re serving as an appetizer, you’re done!
Easy as that!
