Looking for a festive appetizer for your next holiday party? My Cranberry Pecan Pinwheels are red, green and delicious all over! Plus…they’re EASY too! These will be a huge hit at your next Christmas get together!
This recipe makes about 20 pinwheels.
Shopping List
1 (17 oz) box of puff pastry sheets (from the freezer department, I used Pepperidge Farm), brought to room temp per package directions
1 (5.2 oz) garlic and herb Boursin cheese (you will not use all of it)
1 cup of pecan pieces, lightly toasted (I toasted mine in a clean, dry skillet for about 2 minutes)
1½ cups of dried cranberries
about 6 green onions, chopped
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper for easy clean up. Set aside.
Unfold your puff pastry sheets. Across the middle section of each one (there are two per box), spread your Boursin cheese across. Next, sprinkle your toasted pecan pieces and dried cranberries down over the cheese followed by your chopped green onions.
Roll the puff pastry sheet into a log starting with the left side, rolling across the middle (where your filling is) and then rolling to the right. Your puff pastry should now be in a log. Press the seam down to make sure it doesn’t come a part.
Slice each log into about 10 pieces and then lay each pinwheel piece flat on your prepared baking sheet.
Bake pinwheels about 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and serve immediately.
These little bites are just so yummy!! I promise you, they will disappear in no time!

YUM! I love cranberry and cream cheese, and Shay, Costco has the BEST cranberry sauce, it’s absolutely amazing. I think it’s the Stonewall Kitchen. It’s really the best cranberry sauce I’ve ever had. Hey, I bet you could use these for a picnic or a main dish for lunch by adding in some turkey? I adore the combination of turkey, cream cheese and cranberry! Thanks for this recipe, Shay!
