Merry Christmas from the Shulls!


Friends, it’s my last post of 2019!

From the very bottom of my heart, thank you for making this such a special year.  I am constantly moved by your kindness to me…a total stranger.  Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to come check out my little piece of the internet.  I’m honored and humbled by it time and time again.

After today, I’m taking time off to enjoy the rest of this year with my fam.  We have the holidays to celebrate, an adventure to go on and other fun things coming up.  I might not be here in blog world, but I will be on Instagram, so if you want to know about our Christmas, our travels and our every day life, go see me there.  If you don’t have the Instagram app, you can still see it all using this website on your regular old computer.

I do feel like we’re limping towards the finish line of 2019 over here a little bit, but that only makes me more excited about all that 2020 brings.  We have some amazing adventures planned, I have some suuuuper fantastic giveaways lined up, delicious new recipes and much more, so I can’t wait to see you back here on January 6th!

In the meantime, I have two very special prayer requests for you.  This holiday season, I would love for you to pray for two very dear friends of mine Melissa and Kellie.  Both of these mamas have young kiddos and they’re both fighting cancer right now.  One has stage four pancreatic cancer and the other a very rare form of ovarian cancer.  Would you join me in praying for both of these mamas over the holiday?  The Bible says that when two or more are gathered in His name, He is right there with you (Matthew 18:20).

I love Christmas so much.  I love the music, the movies, the weather, the ugly sweaters, the food, the hustle and bustle, the chaos of it all…but what I love most and what is MOST important to me is that it is the birth of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  HE is the reason for the season.  HE is my hope, my joy, and my peace.  If you do not think you know Jesus…really know Jesus, I invite you to read this post HERE about my faith.
