It’s FRIDAY!!!

I love an October Friday.

Okay…I love all fall Fridays, but today I feel extra happy.  Andrew and I have an appointment to pick out the stone in our bathroom which is the last little detail we need to select, so that’s amazing and then next week, hopefully, they’ll put our windows in place and things will REALLY move.  We are a million times better now than we were a month ago, but I still would really like the noise, mess and construction out of my house and my bedroom, bathroom and closet back (not to mention upstairs!), but things are SO MUCH BETTER OVER HERE after that dang flood.  Okay, just like every week, I’m linking up with my friends Andrea and Erika today and sharing some of my faves!

Of course, this is my number one fave…

…I have to be honest, I was so relieved that we agreed on several of these books.  I’m anxious to try another Charles Martin book now that you’re reassured me, I would like the others better.  Whether you read this post or not, go back there today just to read the comment section and get other recs!

My second fave this week has been several cute new sweaters I bought at Target…

…one of the requests from you ladies this year has been for me to find more things on Amazon and at Target, and for me, that’s easier to do in the fall!  Right now, I think Target has some really cute sweaters that I’ve been loving lately.  They’re all super soft (I do not do itchy) and wash really well.

This one in particular is very soft and not too bulky (which I love), so it’s the perfect October sweater for me here in North Texas 🙂 .  I also feel like I must give those pink slippers another shoutout since I am wearing them in almost every pic today!  Ha!  Don’t forget…

Speaking of Target…I’m not ready to do a full hair tutorial post yet, but several weeks ago, I discovered a new (to me) brand and started using their shampoo, conditioner and wave spray from Target…and I’m in love…

…have you guys used Kristin Ess products?!  They had this really pretty display in our store, so I started looking/smelling/googling on my phone and decided to take the plunge and friends, I love.  Now, the wave spray is probably my fave as you spray it on AFTER you fix your hair.  For me, I shampoo and condition at night, let it air dry, then the next morning, I use this to kind of give it a quick oomph and then this curling iron.  After I curl, I gently mess it up with my fingers and have been spraying that wave spray all over it.  It smells amazing and really does give my curls an extra little something.  If you’ve used any of her other products, please share!!

Fa la la la la…la la la la…

…look what I found!!  You know I’m super into these Too Faced Melted Mattes because they stay on all day and don’t rub off inside my mask (yessss!).  Well, they have a new holiday set and each one smells like one of my favorite Christmas treats.  I’m in love.  This would make a great stocking stuffer too!

Did you check out my Instagram yesterday?!  In honor of my birthday month, I bought myself the new Apple Watch Series 6 (which I’ve been sooooo excited about since I do not love my Series 5 and you can read about why HERE), but my watch doesn’t ship until…my birthday.  So, when I realized that I would be getting a new watch for my birthday, I thought it would be fun to give away TWO to TWO OF YOU!  This particular giveaway is Instagram only, so make sure you head over there and like and comment on each pic I post in my feed during the month of October as your entry.   On October 25th, I’ll announce two winners and each will receive an Apple Watch Series 6 Watch with a Gold Aluminum Case and Sport Band.  After I have my 6 a few weeks, I’ll review it too!  It’s probably going to be a great holiday gift!

I posted this pic earlier this week and had so many questions about my acrylic bracelet.  Isn’t it fun?!  It would also make a fun gift this Christmas season!

    I’ve been using Kristin Ess for a while now… I’m addition to the shampoo and conditioner, I really like the Air Dry Creme! It helped me discover I actually have wavy hair this summer (not frizzy straight).

    I love the Kristin Ess products too! They smell so good. I love her spray conditioner/detangler and use it on my daughters hair. It’s great for tangles!

    Kristen Ess texture spray is great! Use it on days I am wearing my hair up and just add a little something so it doesn’t look limp.

    Yes! Kristin Ess is amazing! My daughter and I both use her shampoo and conditioner, and then my daughter also uses the curl cream and detangling spray. They all smell soooooo good!

      I almost always read at night for an hour or so…and then, I also read while I’m waiting in the car for my kids’ appointments, practices to be finished, doctor visits, etc.

    I found Kristen Ess products because of Swoonclub and I’m loving it. I’ve been using the hairspray, curl conditioner, and i go back and forth on the beach wave spray and the curl spray. Love this product line and the price point. 🙂

    I’ve been using Kristin Ess products for over a year now and I love them all! Her hair mask is great. I use the shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner spray and blow dry spray and love them all! The blow dry spray is a must! Cuts down dry time by at least 35-45%!

    Kristin Ess products and tools are the BEST! The purple shampoo and conditioner is life changing. Also, the signature hair water is perfect for second day waves. Check out the pivoting hair wand if you are looking for a new curler 🙂

    I LOVE Kristen Ess! I use like every product she has. My favorite is the leave in conditioner spray and the blow dry spray. The blow dry spray legit takes minutes off of how long it takes me to blow dry my hair. All her products are amazing. I have been using her stuff for like a year now and dont think I will ever use anything else:)

    This isn’t about October though I did order two of those lip glosses you recommended. This is to tell you about an adorable new show on Netflix called Emily in Paris! I watched all ten 30 minute shows this weekend, and was so bummed when it ended?. I want to move to Paris and explore this wonderful city after watching this show. Try it and enjoy!
